Jewish Wedding & Event Bands in the South East

Find Jewish wedding and event bands for your wedding or simcha in the South East

The South East covers a lot of ground, from Eastbourne, Maidstone, Aylesbury, Westminster, Winchester and Guildford. Our Jewish wedding and event bands travel right across the region, so wherever your wedding or simcha is, you'll find acts on this page who already know the venues, the roads and the local crowds. They're booked for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs and simchas.

Across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Kent, London, Oxfordshire, Surrey and West Sussex, the Jewish wedding and event bands listed here play weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs and simchas. Use the area links lower down if you'd like a list narrowed to one part of the South East.

Popular venues across the region include The Grand Hotel, Leeds Castle, Huntsmill Farm, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, Tithe Barn and Bury Court Barn. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we can usually say which acts have played there before.

Not every Jewish wedding and event band does the same job. Within this category you'll find simcha bands, klezmer groups and showbands with a full Jewish and Israeli repertoire, and knowing the feel you want for your wedding or simcha makes the choice much easier.

Since 1999, Hireaband has matched acts with clients right across the country. The Jewish wedding and event bands here all cover the South East and include PA, lighting and travel in the price. The instant quote button shows pricing and availability for your date in seconds.

What to know:

  • Budget £1,500 to £4,000 for most bookings
  • Every quote includes PA, lighting and travel
  • Travel within the South East is never added on later
  • Many acts offer longer or extra sets if you need them
  • Every booking is covered by a 14-day change-of-mind refund

The South East is a large area, so it's worth mentioning your venue's exact location when you enquire. Acts based nearby often have more availability and more experience of local venues, and we'll point you towards them.

Most bookings fall between £1,500 and £4,000. The size of the line-up is the biggest factor, followed by the date and how long the act plays. PA, lighting and travel are included in the quote, so the figure you're given is the figure you pay, wherever you are in the South East.

Each act's page carries real video, audio, a song list and reviews from previous clients. A couple of clips will tell you far more about how an act works a room than any description can.

Use the instant quote button on this page to see prices and availability for your date. Once you've chosen an act, we handle the contract, the deposit and the arrangements, and stay in touch through to the day. Every booking includes a 14-day change-of-mind refund, and an emergency contact line is available on the day if anything needs sorting quickly.

FAQs

Yes. Every band in this category plays a hora and Israeli dance set, including Hava Nagila and other favourites, and will agree the songs and timing with you before the day.

Many can. Some bands offer an acoustic or klezmer set for the ceremony or drinks reception before the main evening set. Mention it when you enquire and we'll include it in the quote.

Yes. Bands bring their own PA and lighting. Larger showbands need a good-sized stage area and power nearby, so it's worth checking both with your venue, along with any sound limiter.

From around £1,500 for a smaller band to £4,000 or more for a large showband. The number of musicians, the date and the length of the evening make the biggest difference, and travel is always included in the quote.

Yes. Bands experienced with simchas are used to fitting their sets around courses, speeches and the chair lift. They'll agree a running order with you and your caterer or planner in advance.

For weekend weddings and bar mitzvahs, a year or more ahead is common, as the most popular bands book up early. For other dates, a few months' notice is often enough.
