Wedding Bands in London

Wedding bands playing venues across London

A good wedding band reads the room. It knows when to start with something everyone recognises, when to bring the tempo up and when the first dance needs to feel special. Across London, our wedding bands play the songs your guests already love, arranged to fill a dance floor rather than copy the record.

London has a wide choice of wedding venues, from Grand Connaught Rooms and Eltham Palace to The Lensbury. The bands on this page travel right across the area, including Westminster, Kensington and Richmond, and are used to working with venue coordinators and sound limiters.

Not every wedding band does the same job. Some are known for a big, polished show with brass and several singers, others for a relaxed, feel-good party set. Knowing the kind of evening you want makes the choice much easier.

We've been booking wedding bands since 1999, and every band on this page covers London. PA, lighting and travel are built into the quote, the band sets up and clears away around your venue's timings, and you can check your date and price straight away with the instant quote button.

The essentials:

  • Typical cost: £1,400 to £2,600, depending on line-up, date and season
  • Always included: PA system, stage lighting and travel costs, in every quote
  • Line-ups from three-piece to eight-piece, with playlist music between sets
  • Most couples book 12 to 18 months ahead for a summer Saturday
  • Every booking carries a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Start with the room, then think about the feel you want. A tight four-piece gives you a full sound at a sensible price, while adding brass, keys or a second singer turns the evening into more of a show. If your venue has a sound limiter, a smaller acoustic-leaning line-up is often the safer choice.

Expect to pay from around £1,400 for a smaller line-up up to £2,600 or more for a larger band. Line-up size matters most, then the date and extras such as an acoustic ceremony set. Every quote includes PA, lighting and travel, so nothing is added later.

Rather than a generic demo, every band's page shows the actual line-up you'd be booking, with videos, audio and a song list. Underneath are reviews from clients who have already booked them, often at venues you'll recognise. Between them you'll have a clear picture of the wedding well before the day.

Enter your date and venue in the instant quote button for live pricing and availability. After you book, we look after the contract, deposit and details, and keep in touch right up to the event. You also get a 14-day change-of-mind refund and an emergency contact number to use on the day.

FAQs

Most London weddings book a four- or five-piece for somewhere between £1,400 and £2,600, all in including PA, lighting and travel. What moves the figure is the line-up size, the day of the week and the season.
All of it — South Kensington, Teddington, Eltham, Kew and Covent Garden and everywhere between, plus the surrounding towns and villages just over the county line.
Some of the grandest venues run their own noise conditions or curfews, so it's worth confirming the licence when you book — we can usually tell you what to expect if we've played there before.
Yes, in almost every case — tell us the song when you book and we'll confirm it.
Twelve to eighteen months for a Saturday in peak season; off-peak dates and weekdays hold later.
Often, yes — we run private showcases, and every act has video and real reviews.

“Simply superb. Played my 70th party with an age range from 3 to 80. Not only got everyone dancing but everyone, but everyone, said "what a great band". Excellent musicians and extremely nice guys. If in doubt – hire them!”

“Stereo Jack provided a first class performance throughout the function. Highly skilled and flexible musicians, they played requests throughout and played an extensive repertoire to cover various genres from the "90s theme". I cannot recommend this band highly enough.”

(5)

“Kickback were amazing for our wedding. Dani was so friendly, helpful and accommodating in the run up to it, and the rest of the guys were great on the day too. Thank you so much!”

“The band were amazing! It was the best choice we made booking Tommy & Sons/The Tommy Guns. They communicated well in the run up to the wedding & when arriving double checked the plan for the evening. Everyone commented how much they enjoyed them. Thanks so much”
