First formed in 2004 as the first James Bond themed tribute band in the world, they have since toured the UK extensively and are now regularly booked overseas, establishing an enviable world wide reputation.
In 2007, the band shared joint billing with The National Symphony Orchestra at the Quex Prom in the Park performing to over 6,000 people. In 2013 they appeared on the BBC for a Bond Themed TV wedding.

We booked The Essential James Bond Band Show to perform at our wedding reception. They did a James Bond set before dinner during the canapés, followed by party music after the dinner and for the evening entertainment. The band were absolutely amazing and made the wedding reception fantastic. We have had so many compliments from our wedding guests about the music and the band. I would not have changed anything about the performance as the band were great. Madeline had a fabulous time at the The Essential James Bond Band concert in Fleet, Hampshire on Sunday 27th November. Oh what a magical evening, the music and singing was absolutely breathtaking and I cannot think of an evening I have enjoyed more. I shall be spreading the word far and wide! The Essential James Bond Band are without doubt the best James Bond Tribute Band in the business.
I can say hand on heart I thoroughly enjoyed the show. The band captured the spirit of the Bond songs perfectly and felt really authentic. I liked all the little touches including the guitar riffs, muffles trumpets and of course the great singing. I really enjoyed the whole performance and would strongly recommend to anyone who has the chance to see your show.
Nobody does (or has done) it better than The Essential James Bond Band Show when it comes to recreating the original sound of the extraordinary music featured in the James Bond films, a vital part in any cinematic adventure. I was totally blown away by the talent demonstrated by the band and its artists after hearing them live in concert. Thank you for a truly unforgettable performance.
We were nervous this was one of those things where you had to pretend they are really good, and they are not really - but we sat there and we were like, this is actually amazing, once they hit On Her Majesty's Secret Service (8th track), it was literally amazing all the way home. We even thought The Man With The Golden Gun was better than the original - the performance out did the original in our eyes. The energy was there, they played off each other so well and we both even had tears in our eyes at some points. Then they did Writings On The Wall - only their second ever performance of it - and Kerry rocked it, she nailed it, I had a real tear in my eye. It was beautiful, it really was fantastic. The ending of the first half, where the brass section come out to the front of the stage in Nobody Does It Better, that's a real show ender, a real climax.
They say that John Barry's music was to James Bond films what hair was to Samson.

Absolutely sublime, just phenomenal. I think The Essential James Bond Band are just incredible. I was speaking to friends after the show - the music of Bond encompasses so many different genres; Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical and The Essential James Bond Band does them all and Warren (band manager) I think is just an amazing person. I'm a huge fan of Sam Smith, but Kerry's version of Writing's On The Wall is way better. I also thought the rocking version of You Know My Name was absolutely stonking, really amazing, and I now have a renewed appreciation for The Living Daylights. They brought their own flavour to the songs and improved on some of them as well!
The singers Kerry and Matthew sang a myriad of Bond songs to well-deserved rapturous applause. The animated guitarist David sang only one song, You Know my Name and it was brilliant! I think I can honestly say they are the best Bond tribute band I have ever had the pleasure of seeing and listening to… if you get an opportunity to see them just take some time out, occasionally close your eyes and listen to quality musician’s at their best.
I had high expectations and I was not disappointed . The band made an excellent performance.
The Essential James Bond Band is quite simply the greatest 007 tribute band imaginable. Some of the songs actually sound even better than the original versions. The band provides a flawless evening of superb entertainment- a class act worthy of Mr. Bond himself.
The Essential James Bond Band Show is a thrilling and entertaining band that brings the Bond classics we know so well in an original way while staying very close to the original. I particularly liked the rawness of “The Man With The Golden Gun” and the amazing instrumental Bond 77. The band members clearly enjoy what they’re doing and so does the audience.
I have been a fan of James Bond music since I was 8. I book to see every concert, every tribute. I even flew to New York to see The famous Losers' Lounge tribute to John Barry and James Bond. I have not missed one Carl Davis show BUT the Band and the show that tops them all is The Essential James Bond Band 's wonderful journey through the Bond catalogue. Magnificent singing and arrangements so true to the originals but electrifying 'modern' literally blow the audience away. The show is seamless with a witty and suave Compere that makes the evening a complete entertainment. This is a band and a show that will convert you to a James Bond music fan (even if you didn't think you would be) 007 may be the theme but the score is 10 out of 10 for this terrific show. I will never be able to thank you all enough for tonight.The sheer brilliance alone is beyond words but the performance of you all and a most fantastic Compere made this a perfect night. I cannot wait to meet you all again I am almost in tears as I write this. You all surpassed my wildest dreams.
I would like to thank you and your band members for the amazing performance during my website’s 20th anniversary James Bond party at the Pinewood Hotel. Performing the complete catalogue of James Bond theme songs in front of an audience of 100 Bond connoisseurs, fan club presidents, magazine editors and Bond music lovers from around the world must have given you some sleepless nights, but I can tell you the verdict was unanimous: The best performance of theme songs we ever witnessed! It was an awesome show and I can only congratulate you with the group of talented people you have formed around you. The way you guys nailed those songs was simply amazing.
