Jewish Wedding & Event Bands in Leicestershire

Live bands for Jewish weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs in Leicestershire

For a Jewish wedding or bar mitzvah, the band sets the energy of the whole evening. In Leicestershire, our Jewish event bands are used to big, lively rooms and packed dance floors, and they bring everything from a live hora medley to a polished showband set.

Popular event venues in Leicestershire include Brooksby Hall, Beaumanor Hall and Willow Marsh Farm, and our Jewish event bands play celebrations across Market Harborough, Leicester and Loughborough. Tell us your venue and running order when you enquire and we'll suggest acts that suit both.

Within this category you'll find showbands, klezmer bands and party bands experienced with Jewish celebrations. Many offer ceremony and reception music as well as the evening band, and their song lists show exactly which Jewish and Israeli songs they cover.

We've been booking live bands since 1999, and every Jewish event band on this page covers Leicestershire. Travel is built into the quote, the band brings what it needs to be heard, and you can check your date and price straight away with the instant quote button.

The essentials:

  • Typical cost: from around £1,500 for a smaller band to £4,000 or more for a large showband, depending on line-up, date and set times
  • Hora and Israeli dance sets, klezmer and a full party set
  • Ceremony, reception and evening music available
  • Travel is included in every quote
  • Every booking carries a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Start with the size of the celebration and the running order. A large wedding or bar mitzvah suits a showband with several singers and a horn section; a smaller simcha suits a five or six-piece. Tell us when you want the hora and any other key moments, and we'll match you with a band that plans around them.

Expect to pay from around £1,500 for a smaller band up to £4,000 or more for a large showband. Line-up size matters most, then the date and extras such as a klezmer set or reception music. Every quote includes travel, so nothing is added later.

Rather than a generic demo, each act's page shows the actual line-up you'd be booking, with videos, audio, a song list and client reviews. Between them you'll get a clear sense of the sound and the show well before the day.

Enter your date and venue in the instant quote button for live pricing and availability. After you book, we look after the contract, deposit and details, and keep in touch right up to the event. You also get a 14-day change-of-mind refund and an emergency contact number to use on the day.

FAQs

Yes. Every band in this category plays a hora and Israeli dance set, including Hava Nagila and other favourites, and will agree the songs and timing with you before the day.

Many can. Some bands offer an acoustic or klezmer set for the ceremony or drinks reception before the main evening set. Mention it when you enquire and we'll include it in the quote.

Yes. Bands bring their own PA and lighting. Larger showbands need a good-sized stage area and power nearby, so it's worth checking both with your venue, along with any sound limiter.

From around £1,500 for a smaller band to £4,000 or more for a large showband. The number of musicians, the date and the length of the evening make the biggest difference, and travel is always included in the quote.

Yes. Bands experienced with simchas are used to fitting their sets around courses, speeches and the chair lift. They'll agree a running order with you and your caterer or planner in advance.

For weekend weddings and bar mitzvahs, a year or more ahead is common, as the most popular bands book up early. For other dates, a few months' notice is often enough.

“Hi we would like to say a BIG thank you to 'Monte Carlo' who played at our wedding evening celebrations on 5th March at Layer Marney Tower. They were excellent and a great end to an already perfect day.”

“With vocals that manage to tingle the hairs on the back of your neck and excellent musicianship, Domino don't fail to impress. From the uplifting groovy tunes to the atmospheric ambient sounds at the other, Musicology manage to leave a lasting impression. With their own unique takes on classics such as Oasis' Wonderwall to James Browns' Get up, it is clear to see the sheer talent this band possess. Musicology is definitely a crowd pleaser and an excellent put together band. I highly recommend this band to anybody who enjoys real, pure talent as well as being able to dance the night away. +10”

“Thank you very much guys for playing our wedding, they were brilliant. Generally a good sign when there isn't an inch of space left on the dance floor. They were really easy to deal with and professional and they played mystify brilliantly despite having to learn it specially for the wedding. I would wholeheartedly recommend you and certainly re-book for another party.”

“A quick note to you and the rest of the band who came last Saturday to Putney for our 40th Birthday. We and the rest of our friends and family had a fantastic time and you kept the room dancing throughout the night. Hopefully you’ll be available for our 50th ! We’ve had quite a few queries about who you are and how to get hold of you so we’ve sent them your way hopefully they’ll be in touch. Thanks again and Happy Christmas”
