Jewish Wedding & Event Bands in Northamptonshire

Live bands for Jewish weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs in Northamptonshire

The right band makes a simcha. Acts across Northamptonshire combine traditional Jewish and Israeli repertoire, klezmer and the hora with a full party set, and they're booked for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, engagement parties and community events.

Whether your celebration is near Kettering, Wellingborough and Northampton or elsewhere in Northamptonshire, the acts on this page cover the whole area. Local venues include Dodmoor House, Delapre Abbey and Dodford Manor. It's worth sharing the venue's layout early so the band can plan where the hora circle will go.

Jewish event bands vary in size and style. Some are large showbands with singers and a horn section, some specialise in klezmer and traditional music, and many combine a hora and Israeli dance set with pop, soul and disco. Watching a couple of videos is the quickest way to find the right fit.

Hireaband has been booking live music since 1999. Every Jewish event band here travels to Northamptonshire as standard, brings the equipment it needs, and the quote you receive includes travel. Use the instant quote button on this page to check prices and availability for your date.

The essentials:

  • Typical cost: from around £1,500 for a smaller band to £4,000 or more for a large showband, depending on line-up, date and set times
  • Hora and Israeli dance sets, klezmer and a full party set
  • Ceremony, reception and evening music available
  • Travel is included in every quote
  • Every booking carries a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Start with the size of the celebration and the running order. A large wedding or bar mitzvah suits a showband with several singers and a horn section; a smaller simcha suits a five or six-piece. Tell us when you want the hora and any other key moments, and we'll match you with a band that plans around them.

A five or six-piece typically starts from around £1,500, while a large showband with horns and several singers can reach £4,000 or more. The date and your set times make a difference too. The price in your quote includes travel, so it won't change once you've booked.

Each band's page carries real video, audio, a song list and reviews from previous clients. A couple of clips will tell you far more about how a band works a room than any description can.

Use the instant quote button on this page to see prices and availability for your date. Once you've chosen an act, we handle the contract, the deposit and the arrangements, and stay in touch through to the day. Every booking includes a 14-day change-of-mind refund, and an emergency contact line is available on the day if anything needs sorting quickly.

FAQs

Yes. Every band in this category plays a hora and Israeli dance set, including Hava Nagila and other favourites, and will agree the songs and timing with you before the day.

Many can. Some bands offer an acoustic or klezmer set for the ceremony or drinks reception before the main evening set. Mention it when you enquire and we'll include it in the quote.

Yes. Bands bring their own PA and lighting. Larger showbands need a good-sized stage area and power nearby, so it's worth checking both with your venue, along with any sound limiter.

From around £1,500 for a smaller band to £4,000 or more for a large showband. The number of musicians, the date and the length of the evening make the biggest difference, and travel is always included in the quote.

Yes. Bands experienced with simchas are used to fitting their sets around courses, speeches and the chair lift. They'll agree a running order with you and your caterer or planner in advance.

For weekend weddings and bar mitzvahs, a year or more ahead is common, as the most popular bands book up early. For other dates, a few months' notice is often enough.

“A huge, huge thank you from all of us here for your tremendous music on Saturday night. You were brilliant! You chose great songs to play which got lots of people up dancing and made the party go with a swing. I had many super comments and feedback about you. We were really thrilled we had asked you to cover the evening. Thank you for talking me through the microphone, too. It worked fine. We appreciated your fantastic music so much and will definitely pass your details on to anyone wanting a band. Please thank the others for me. We might see you again at friends’ events. If so, we will come and say hello!”

“We had such a great day and the band were awesome. Had lots of guests commenting on how good their performance was. Band were very kind and flexible and even allowed one of the guests on stage to lead a song. If we were to change anything on the day it wouldn't have been the band!”
