Jewish Wedding & Event Bands in Worcestershire

Book a band for a Jewish wedding or simcha in Worcestershire

A Jewish wedding or bar mitzvah needs a band that knows the running order as well as the music. In Worcestershire, our Jewish event bands play the hora and Israeli dance medleys at exactly the right moment, then keep the dance floor full with soul, pop and party classics for the rest of the night.

Across Worcestershire, Jewish event bands are booked for simchas in and around Bromsgrove, Malvern and Evesham. Venues in the area include Brockencote Hall, Abbey Hotel, Golf & Spa and Stanbrook Abbey Hotel, all with space for a big dance floor and a full band.

Not every band plays a simcha the same way. Some lead a long, high-energy hora set with Israeli favourites, some add a klezmer or acoustic set for the ceremony or reception, and all of them follow up with a party set for the rest of the night.

Hireaband has been booking live music since 1999. Every Jewish event band here travels to Worcestershire as standard, brings the equipment it needs, and the quote you receive includes travel. Use the instant quote button on this page to check prices and availability for your date.

The essentials:

  • Typical cost: from around £1,500 for a smaller band to £4,000 or more for a large showband, depending on line-up, date and set times
  • Hora and Israeli dance sets, klezmer and a full party set
  • Ceremony, reception and evening music available
  • Travel is included in every quote
  • Every booking carries a 14-day change-of-mind refund

For 150 guests or more, a seven to ten-piece showband gives the room the energy it needs. For smaller celebrations, a five or six-piece works well. Tell us the venue, the guest numbers and the running order and we'll suggest what tends to work.

Expect to pay from around £1,500 for a smaller band up to £4,000 or more for a large showband. Line-up size matters most, then the date and extras such as a klezmer set or reception music. Every quote includes travel, so nothing is added later.

Rather than a generic demo, each act's page shows the actual line-up you'd be booking, with videos, audio, a song list and client reviews. Between them you'll get a clear sense of the sound and the show well before the day.

The instant quote button gives you a price and availability for your date straight away. From there, we manage the contract and deposit and keep you updated until the event. Every booking is covered by a 14-day change-of-mind refund, and there's an emergency contact line on the day in case anything needs sorting.

FAQs

Yes. Every band in this category plays a hora and Israeli dance set, including Hava Nagila and other favourites, and will agree the songs and timing with you before the day.

Many can. Some bands offer an acoustic or klezmer set for the ceremony or drinks reception before the main evening set. Mention it when you enquire and we'll include it in the quote.

Yes. Bands bring their own PA and lighting. Larger showbands need a good-sized stage area and power nearby, so it's worth checking both with your venue, along with any sound limiter.

From around £1,500 for a smaller band to £4,000 or more for a large showband. The number of musicians, the date and the length of the evening make the biggest difference, and travel is always included in the quote.

Yes. Bands experienced with simchas are used to fitting their sets around courses, speeches and the chair lift. They'll agree a running order with you and your caterer or planner in advance.

For weekend weddings and bar mitzvahs, a year or more ahead is common, as the most popular bands book up early. For other dates, a few months' notice is often enough.

“This band is so good I made them our resident band. The full package: talented, professional with a fantastic stage presence. Their love of music and playing together is evident which makes them a joy to watch. I love the wide range of music they perform and they always get people dancing. I would recommend booking this band for any occasion.”

“City Boys played at our wedding in September and were everything we had hoped for and more! They are a really friendly group who played a great mix of songs, keeping the dance-floor full from start to finish. I would highly recommend this band! They are a really fun and friendly group of guys and have a great song selection. We had a wide ranging age group of guests but the City Boys played songs that kept everyone entertained, dancing and singing along. They played a huge part in what was the most perfect wedding day! Thank you!”

“What an awesome night! We had such a great party and you guys were instrumental in making it so. Everyone loved your music and commented on how brilliant your performance was, including some ‘neighbours’ several roads away!! We’d said to our near neighbours that they were welcome to enjoy the music in their gardens and we ended up having 1 who came over and commented that he had to come to see you guys in person because he was enjoying the tunes so much! Can’t say fairer than that.”

“Incredible band with sensational sound - their videos do not do them justice! Every song was a winner and could not have been happier with HAB's suggestion. Catered so well to our picky song requests and had the dancefloor packed from beginning to end. Amazing!!”

(5)

“The band were absolutely fantastic. Everyone raved about them. They were great performers - engaged with the crowd and had fun surprise elements to add to the show.”

“The Milestones were fantastic – they blew us away with their music! They were every bit as professional and entertaining as I expected and were a lovely bunch of people too. I think they enjoyed themselves as much as we did!”
