Jewish Wedding & Event Bands in Herefordshire

Hire a Jewish event band in Herefordshire

Simchas have their own rhythm, from the entrance of the couple and the chair lift to the Hava Nagila set and the late-night party. Across Herefordshire, the bands on this page are experienced with Jewish weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs and anniversary celebrations, and they plan every moment with you in advance.

Whether your celebration is near Hereford, Leominster and Ledbury or elsewhere in Herefordshire, the acts on this page cover the whole area. Local venues include Homme House, Lyde Arundel and Eastnor Castle. It's worth sharing the venue's layout early so the band can plan where the hora circle will go.

Jewish event bands vary in size and style. Some are large showbands with singers and a horn section, some specialise in klezmer and traditional music, and many combine a hora and Israeli dance set with pop, soul and disco. Watching a couple of videos is the quickest way to find the right fit.

We've been booking live bands since 1999, and every Jewish event band on this page covers Herefordshire. Travel is built into the quote, the band brings what it needs to be heard, and you can check your date and price straight away with the instant quote button.

The essentials:

  • Typical cost: from around £1,500 for a smaller band to £4,000 or more for a large showband, depending on line-up, date and set times
  • Hora and Israeli dance sets, klezmer and a full party set
  • Ceremony, reception and evening music available
  • Travel is included in every quote
  • Every booking carries a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Start with the size of the celebration and the running order. A large wedding or bar mitzvah suits a showband with several singers and a horn section; a smaller simcha suits a five or six-piece. Tell us when you want the hora and any other key moments, and we'll match you with a band that plans around them.

Expect to pay from around £1,500 for a smaller band up to £4,000 or more for a large showband. Line-up size matters most, then the date and extras such as a klezmer set or reception music. Every quote includes travel, so nothing is added later.

Every act's page has video and audio of the musicians who would actually play, their repertoire and written reviews from people who have booked them. It's the easiest way to check the style and the atmosphere before you commit.

The instant quote button gives you a price and availability for your date straight away. From there, we manage the contract and deposit and keep you updated until the event. Every booking is covered by a 14-day change-of-mind refund, and there's an emergency contact line on the day in case anything needs sorting.

FAQs

Yes. Every band in this category plays a hora and Israeli dance set, including Hava Nagila and other favourites, and will agree the songs and timing with you before the day.

Many can. Some bands offer an acoustic or klezmer set for the ceremony or drinks reception before the main evening set. Mention it when you enquire and we'll include it in the quote.

Yes. Bands bring their own PA and lighting. Larger showbands need a good-sized stage area and power nearby, so it's worth checking both with your venue, along with any sound limiter.

From around £1,500 for a smaller band to £4,000 or more for a large showband. The number of musicians, the date and the length of the evening make the biggest difference, and travel is always included in the quote.

Yes. Bands experienced with simchas are used to fitting their sets around courses, speeches and the chair lift. They'll agree a running order with you and your caterer or planner in advance.

For weekend weddings and bar mitzvahs, a year or more ahead is common, as the most popular bands book up early. For other dates, a few months' notice is often enough.
