Jewish Wedding & Event Bands in the West Midlands

Find Jewish wedding and event bands for your wedding or simcha in the West Midlands

Finding the right Jewish wedding and event band is easier when you can see every option in one place. This page covers all of the West Midlands, from Warwick, Sutton Coldfield, Hereford, Lichfield, Kenilworth and Malvern, and every act listed travels to venues across the region for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs and simchas.

Across Birmingham, Coventry, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire, the Jewish wedding and event bands listed here play weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs and simchas. Use the area links lower down if you'd like a list narrowed to one part of the West Midlands.

Venues across the West Midlands that our acts know well include Compton Verney and Moxhull Hall, How Caple Court and Weston Hall, and Cheylesmore Manor House and Old Rectory House. Every venue has its own space, power supply and finish time, and we'll check those with the act for you.

The category covers simcha bands, klezmer groups and showbands with a full Jewish and Israeli repertoire. Their pages show exactly what each one plays, so you can match the act to your guests and your venue.

Hireaband has been booking live entertainment since 1999. Every band listed here covers the West Midlands, and PA, lighting and travel are included in the quote you receive. Use the instant quote button on this page to check prices and availability for your date.

At a glance:

  • Most Jewish wedding and event bands cost between £1,500 and £4,000
  • PA, lighting and travel are included in the price you're quoted
  • One page covering every area of the West Midlands
  • Popular acts book up early for busy dates, so enquire soon
  • A 14-day change-of-mind refund comes with every booking

Some venues have sound limiters, early finishes or restrictions on where acts can set up. Check these early, as they can decide which line-up is the better fit for your wedding or simcha.

Most bookings fall between £1,500 and £4,000. The size of the line-up is the biggest factor, followed by the date and how long the act plays. PA, lighting and travel are included in the quote, so the figure you're given is the figure you pay, wherever you are in the West Midlands.

Every act's page has video and audio of the performers who would actually play at your wedding or simcha, a full song list and written reviews from people who have booked them. It's the easiest way to judge the style before you commit.

The instant quote button gives you a price and availability for your date straight away. From there, we manage the contract and deposit and keep you updated until the event. Every booking is covered by a 14-day change-of-mind refund, and there's an emergency contact line on the day in case anything needs sorting.

FAQs

Yes. Every band in this category plays a hora and Israeli dance set, including Hava Nagila and other favourites, and will agree the songs and timing with you before the day.

Many can. Some bands offer an acoustic or klezmer set for the ceremony or drinks reception before the main evening set. Mention it when you enquire and we'll include it in the quote.

Yes. Bands bring their own PA and lighting. Larger showbands need a good-sized stage area and power nearby, so it's worth checking both with your venue, along with any sound limiter.

From around £1,500 for a smaller band to £4,000 or more for a large showband. The number of musicians, the date and the length of the evening make the biggest difference, and travel is always included in the quote.

Yes. Bands experienced with simchas are used to fitting their sets around courses, speeches and the chair lift. They'll agree a running order with you and your caterer or planner in advance.

For weekend weddings and bar mitzvahs, a year or more ahead is common, as the most popular bands book up early. For other dates, a few months' notice is often enough.

“The band played a great set - the dancefloor was completely full at all times, and everyone had such a good time. We had a few enthusiastic guests who were very keen to join the band (!) and they were very good about this. A fantastic experience on the night. Thank you!”

“The Sherlocks performed at our wedding and they were super - from all the pre correspondence to the performance on the night. We have had nothing but positive feedback from our guests who loved the traditional wedding music combined with a few of our favourite Irish songs. They certainly got the room up singing and dancing! Thanks again to Alastair and the rest of the group”

“Hi Barrie Happy New Year. I just wanted to thank you and more importantly Monte Carlo for suck a great night! You guys were the BEST!”

“We have had Garden Party perform at a number of family gatherings over the years and they consistently deliver to a superb level. They are exceptional performers, play great songs and really know how to get the crowd going. Separately, I found them easy to communicate with, polite, and were able to get set up in less than 45 mins which was really appreciated on the night! Libbi and the team at Hireaband were easy to work with throughout the entire booking process.”

“Mitzvah Tanz band and dance caller was an absolutely brilliant opening to our wedding party. They got nearly everyone on their feet twirling round the room and everyone else clapping and stamping their feet. It really helped build a feeling of community and warmth that lasted the whole night. I would highly recommend Mitzvah Tanz they were easy to work with, accommodating, reliable and great fun to have around. If you want accessible Klezmer with a modern twist Mitzvah Tanz are for you!'”

“The band were brilliant, a great laugh and were willing to go with the mood. It was also great music when we weren't dancing just really relaxing to listen to great musicians whilst enjoying the wedding. Thanks gents!”
