Perfect! Super flexible, experienced and informative, and not not pushy, when we were arranging the night. On the night they blew us away!!!

Empire were an excellent addition to our wedding. They performed a fantastic mix of songs and chose some real floor-fillers without needing to turn to group dances (like the "Macerena") or songs you hear a million times. So many people were on the dance floor by the end of the night. The band were well prepared for our first dance and mother/son + father/daughter dance. They also honoured our requests, including performing "All I Want for Christmas" in July! The band were very professional and I was not aware of any problems at all. They came on time and set up without causing an disruption.

Absolutely blown away by Empires performance at our wedding. Not just us but all the guests had a fantastic time and loved the music. It was testament to them that the dance floor was packed from start to finish. Thank you!

Empire were absolutely fantastic and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Joe was a pleasure to deal with from the beginning, responding to emails in a timely, friendly and helpful fashion. He was very receptive to our requests in terms of setlist and was more than happy to play our first song request (which was a little leftfield!)- the band played it brilliantly and it was such a special moment for us. The band were highly accomplished musicians and we particularly loved the interaction with the audience (the singer was often to be found in the middle of the dance floor!) So many of our guests commented on how great the band were and asked how we found them. The music was always an incredibly important part of our day and Empire absolutely smashed it- thanks so much guys!

We could not sing the praises of HireABand and Empire highly enough. In every respect, they have been thoroughly brilliant. Hire A Band were flexible and patient given the need for us to rebook an alternative band due to COVID postponements of our wedding, and Libbi was in regular contact and provided useful and valuable advice. Empire were simply outstanding. Joe was in touch in good time to discuss their performance, and were in touch with our reception venue, and arrived early to setup. Their performance was absolutely spectacular. They had everyone on the dancefloor from the very start, even those family and friends that usually watch from the sidelines. Everyone was boogie-ing and jumping about until the very end, all thanks to their brilliant, upbeat and talented performances. We even had a brave guitarist roaming the dancefloor! We've recieved so many compliments from our friends and family on how fantastic Empire were. We really wanted to celebrate our wedding with a fun, uplifting and happy vibe, which you captured perfectly for all generations. Thank you so, so, SO much!

Empire played our wedding in Bath on August 10th and we couldn't have been happier with them. First and foremost their performance was excellent and our dance floor was full from the first song until the last. As a five piece band they created a great overall sound and a professional and polished performance. Starting off with more modern numbers to get the energy levels in the room up, they then transitioned into more funk/soul/classic rock tracks which suited the audience. They were able to read the crowd and set the tone accordingly which I think is really important in order to ensure that the guests could fully engage with their set. Countless people approached me after the event to compliment them and express how much fun they had had at the evening reception thanks to the band being so good. Joe - the band leader - was very friendly and easy to deal with in the run up to the event and on the day the whole band were lovely and we had a lot of fun interacting with them. They arrived on time and completed their set-up and sound check etc. within the agreed time-frame. In summary they are extremely talented and professional musicians who are also fantastic to be around and to deal with. I would definitely recommend them to any couples looking for the perfect wedding band for their big day.

Empire were an exceptional band, making our wedding reception a night to remember :) Fantastic songs, a full dance floor all evening, would book again and highly recommend.

We specifically wanted a 5 or 6 piece band, when we initially searched and listened to quite a few we were both instantly attracted to the sound quality and energy that Empire have.We realise that the band are used to performing at much bigger venues but were just relieved that they were available to play for us that day as they were our 1st choice. We also appreciate the distance that they travelled from the Midlands up to Yorkshire and also the fact that members of the band had early commitments the next day.

We had lots of lovely comments from our guests asking about Empire and saying how good they were. My only regret is that they couldn't have played for us longer as I believe our guests probably had a bit more dance floor stamina left in them! In hindsight when planning our wedding we should have thought more about providing music after the band had left! From start to finish we found Empire extremely professional, setting up to packing up we hardly knew they were around, but when they were playing they performed superbly and certainly helped provide the party atmosphere.Our wedding was a whirlwind and flew by as we tried to greet and chat to everyone there. We appreciate the fact that members of the band came to say cheerio at the end of the evening. We would certainly recommend Empire in the future!

Professional, organised and they sounded great. I couldn’t ask for more. Empire were very accommodating with the arrangements leading up to the party. On the night they were fantastic. The set list was perfect for the audience with a good mix of songs. There was not a single thing they could have improved. Highly recommend to all.

Empire were absolutely brilliant!! They arrived on time, were incredibly patient and polite while setting up and as soon as they started we realised we had booked a really class act!! They were so energising and the set list was perfectly diverse so that everyone of all ages enjoyed it. He kept me informed along the way, and gave good advice with help in regards to choosing a band. Payments were easy and everything was completed efficiently. The band 'Empire' were brilliant and really got the party going!!! They also sung the first dance which was beautiful. They went with the flow as the time schedule had gone out the window by then but completed their set. The range of music they played was fabulous and covered a range of ages and no cheesy songs, just really good tracks. It sounded great and everyone commented on how good they were and the dance floor was never empty!! Thank you all!

I was fortunate enough to book the band Empire and I have to say that they were fantastic. Very accommodating and very professional. They had the dance floor packed all night. Great musicians and great entertainers. I would highly recommend booking this band. Empire were one of the best additions we made to our wedding planning to help make our special day perfect! You really were the standout moment of the day for us and all of our guests! After all the emotion of the day, you really captured the mood perfectly and from your first song, had everybody on the dance floor and kept us all there until you finished late into the evening. We can't even begin to try and say how thankful we are but you really did make our day perfect. We've had so many kind words and thanks for being part of the best wedding people have ever been to, including comments from the staff at our venue. You are all extremely talented and professional and it was so personal it was like we had family playing for us! Saw Empire at a friend’s wedding, I was really impressed with not only their music but also their professionalism. They entertained us for the whole evening, with a real variety of floor fillers. Couldn't recommend them more for any event.

Empire were fantastic; the whole reception were on their feet enjoying the band for the entirety of their set. Their stage presence was exceptional and their set list was a true crowd pleaser. Numerous people have since enquired with us about the band so I really hope they get more bookings in the future.

Empire were excellent! Super flexible when setting up in the corn shed. Their varied set list got everyone on the dance floor! The mix of vocals really set them apart from others bands I've seen.
