Room size matters more than guest numbers. A four or five-piece suits most function rooms and barns comfortably, filling the floor without overwhelming the space. Larger ballrooms and marquees carry a six to eight-piece well, with brass or a second vocalist adding real weight. Smaller venues often work best with a trio and a longer playlist between sets.
A three or four-piece typically starts from around £1,400, while a six-piece or a band with brass can reach £2,600 or more. An off-peak date is often good value if your budget is tight. The price in your quote includes PA, lighting and travel, so it won't change once you've booked.
