Wedding Bands in the East Midlands

Wedding bands covering the whole of the East Midlands

Whether you're planning a wedding in a city-centre hotel or a country house miles from anywhere, wedding bands in the East Midlands cover the whole region. This page brings together acts that play everywhere from Nottingham, Chesterfield, Northampton, Lincoln and Leicester, so you can compare them side by side.

Our listings for the East Midlands take in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire. Each of those areas has its own page too, which you'll find in the links further down, but the acts here will travel to any of them.

From Inkersall Grange Farm and Callow Hall to Dodmoor House, Belvoir Castle, Willow Marsh Farm and Kelham House, the venues across the East Midlands range from grand country houses to barns, hotels and city spaces. Our acts are used to adapting to all of them.

Across the East Midlands you can choose from soul and Motown bands, pop and chart acts, indie and rock bands and bigger line-ups with brass. Most will take a few requests ahead of the day, and many can learn a special song if you ask.

Hireaband has been booking live entertainment since 1999. Every band listed here covers the East Midlands, and PA, lighting and travel are included in the quote you receive. Use the instant quote button on this page to check prices and availability for your date.

What to know:

  • Budget £1,400 to £2,600 for most bookings
  • Every quote includes PA, lighting and travel
  • Travel within the East Midlands is never added on later
  • Many acts offer longer or extra sets if you need them
  • Every booking is covered by a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Some venues have sound limiters, early finishes or restrictions on where acts can set up. Check these early, as they can decide which line-up is the better fit for your wedding.

Expect to pay from around £1,400 up to £2,600 or more for a larger line-up. The act, the date and your set times make the biggest difference. Every quote includes PA, lighting and travel, so nothing is added later.

Rather than a generic demo, every act's page shows the actual line-up you'd be booking, with videos, audio and a song list. Underneath are reviews from clients, often at venues you'll recognise.

Enter your date and venue in the instant quote button for live pricing and availability. After you book, we look after the contract, deposit and details, and keep in touch right up to the event. You also get a 14-day change-of-mind refund and an emergency contact number to use on the day.

FAQs

Most the East Midlands weddings book a four- or five-piece for somewhere between £1,400 and £2,600, all in including PA, lighting and travel. What moves the figure is the line-up size, the day of the week, the season, and occasionally the venue's own power or access requirements.
All of it — Windsor, Ascot, Newbury, Reading, Maidenhead and everywhere between — plus the bordering parts of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Surrey, since plenty of the East Midlands couples marry just over a county line.
Yes, in almost every case. Tell us the song when you book and we'll confirm whether it's one the band already knows or needs to learn — either way, it's usually not a problem.
Yes — every booking includes a full PA and lighting rig sized to the room, so there's nothing extra to hire or arrange. If your venue has a sound limiter, we'll ask about it in advance so the band can plan around it.
Twelve to eighteen months for a Saturday in peak season, and January and February are the busiest months for booking. Off-peak dates and weekdays tend to hold later, so if your date's close, ask anyway.
Often, yes. We run private showcases where you can see several acts in one evening, and can sometimes get you into a public date too. Every act also has video and real client reviews to help you decide.
It's vanishingly rare, but every booking is backed by a deputy system and full insurance, and we're contactable throughout. Once a booking's confirmed in writing, the act that's confirmed is the act that turns up.

“Thank you so much to The Tommy Guns who performed at our Wedding in August 2025. I had seen the Tommy Guns at another wedding back in 2017 and decided there and then that if i was to ever get married, i would book The Tommy Guns - they were SO good! They played hit after hit for all generations and had the dance floor filled. They even helped fulfil a dream of the Bride by inviting her on to stage to be a Rock star for a song. I could not recommend them enough!”

“What can we say! We saw Kickback at a friend's wedding before booking them for our wedding! Beforehand, they were excellent communicators made sure we were happy with our setlist and to our surprise, actually played our first dance song live rather than playing a recording! Our guests loved them too, a great mix of music from all generations and we would highly recommend them to anyone! Thanks again guys!”
