Overview
The Honey are a five-piece wedding and party band who sound and look like a band you'd genuinely go and see on a Friday night, not a stereotypical wedding band.
Fronted by the effortlessly soulful Kyanna Hayes on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, alongside Rob Wicks (lead guitar & vocals), Toby Starks (keys & vocals), Mike Bingham (bass) and Owen Coulson (drums), The Honey bring together five accomplished musicians with the polish and confidence of a proper touring act.
Their set moves fluidly from soul and Motown classics through 90s and 00s indie and pop, right up to the biggest songs of today, building a night that keeps every generation on the dance floor, grandparents included.
Guests regularly describe The Honey as one of the best bands they've seen at a wedding, with couples booking them off the back of blistering live performances at private weddings, milestone parties and high-end corporate events across the UK and abroad, including a 250-person company celebration in the French Alps.
Whether it's an acapella moment during the cocktail hour, a spine-tingling first dance, or a full-throttle finish that has the whole room singing along, The Honey are built to make an event feel like a genuine gig rather than background entertainment.

Dear The Honey,
I'm not sure you realise what you did for us.
We had postponed our wedding twice, changed venues, lost suppliers and spent nearly three years trying to get to the day. By the time the evening came around, we were exhausted.
Then you started playing and suddenly everyone we loved was in one room, dancing.
Yellow was the moment I completely lost it. I looked across the dance floor and saw my mum, my best friend, my brother and my husband all singing together. It was one of the most beautiful moments of the entire day.
And then, naturally, you followed it with absolute chaos.
Kyanna was incredible - effortlessly good at singing - and the boys were completely locked in. Owen in particular seemed physically incapable of stopping.
We booked a wedding band. What we got was a proper live show, and it was so cool to make friends with you all after.
Thank you for giving us the ending our wedding deserved. We will genuinely never forget it.
We booked The Honey for a 250-person company celebration in the French Alps and they were exceptional from start to finish.
What impressed us most was how quickly they understood the brief. This wasn't a traditional corporate event, we wanted something stylish, energetic and a little bit unexpected - and they completely got it.
They looked fantastic on stage, interacted brilliantly with the room and adjusted their energy perfectly as the evening progressed.
There was a particularly brilliant moment halfway through the second set when Kyanna brought the room together for Firework Katy Perry, as a firework display started up on the terrace outside. A couple of hundred people singing along in the mountains was genuinely one of those moments you remember.
Then they completely flipped the mood and had everyone dancing again within minutes.
They felt like a contemporary live band rather than a corporate function act - which is exactly what we were looking for and seems hard to find.
We would have no hesitation recommending The Honey for high-end events where the entertainment needs to feel memorable, modern and genuinely exciting.
We spent ages looking for a band because I was adamant I didn't want the standard wedding-band experience like cheesy outfits, predictable medleys and someone shouting 'COME ON EVERYBODY!' every 30 seconds.
The Honey were the complete opposite.
They looked incredibly cool, sounded huge and had the confidence of a proper touring band. You could tell they were actually musicians rather than people who just happen to play weddings.
The set was perfect. Our friends were hooked from the first song, and by the time White Wedding came on, the dance floor was completely rammed. Rob's guitar work was ridiculous. We had guests asking us afterwards whether they were a signed band.
Honestly, that says it all.
If you're getting married and want a band that feels like a real gig rather than wedding entertainment, book The Honey.
We honestly didn't want a 'wedding band'. We wanted a band that looked and sounded like a band we'd actually go and see on a Friday night and The Honey absolutely nailed it.
The moment Kyanna walked on stage we knew we'd made the right choice. She had the entire room in the palm of her hand.
By the time they started the second set, my dad was on the dance floor, my bridesmaids were screaming the chorus and my husband had somehow ended up playing air guitar with Rob.
The best bit? Looking around during the final song and literally EVERYONE was dancing - grandparents included.
Kyanna, Rob, Owen, Mike and Toby - thank you for making the wedding feel like the best party we've ever thrown. We'd get married again just to have you guys play it.
You are FABBBBBBB & I am absolutely obsessed with you. Thank you for making our night so amazing!!!!! Everyone kept telling us that you were just unbelievable and some of the best performers they've seen!!!
Such a highlight im so grateful!!
Hey guys, Hannah and I wanted to message say a massive massive thank you again to Kyanna, Toby and Rob for our wedding last weekend. We've had so many people compliment us on the band the last week, you guys have helped created the most unforgettable memories (acapella in cocktail hour, inviting Hannah to sing with you guys and just smashing your set in the evening) and we can't thank you enough for coming in with so much energy xx
