Wedding bands in Swansea

We've been booking live music for weddings since 1999, and every act on this page is one we represent and know well — a covers band, a party band, a function band, whatever you'd call it, the job's the same: read the room and get people dancing. You can hear each one before you decide, read genuine reviews from couples who've actually booked them, and check your date without ever picking up the phone.

Swansea has real range for a wedding: country houses and historic halls, working barns and estates, and well-loved venues around Parkmill, Oxwich and Llanrhidian that couples come back to again and again — places like Parc Le Breos House, Sketty Hall, Oxwich Bay Hotel among them. Wherever you're getting married here, there's usually a band on this page who already knows the room.

That range asks a slightly different thing of the band each time. A big country house or a barn wants a five- or six-piece with a proper PA built to fill the space; a smaller venue or an intimate marquee does just as well with the same band scaled to a four-piece, without losing any of the energy. Some of Swansea's grandest venues run their own noise conditions, so it's always worth checking the licence before you book — we can usually tell you what to expect if we've played the room before.

On cost: most Swansea weddings book a four- or five-piece for somewhere between £1,400 and £2,600. What actually moves that number is the size of the line-up, the day of the week, the time of year, and how far the band's travelling. A Saturday in July will cost more than a Friday in November, and a three-piece will always come in under a seven-piece with horns. We quote against your real date and your real venue rather than a list price, and that quote includes PA, lighting and the band's travel to wherever you're getting married in Swansea — there's no separate mileage charge to budget for.

Ready to book one? Just tell us the date and the venue, and we'll come back with whichever of our acts are free and genuinely suit the room. If you'd like to see a band play live before committing to anything, just ask — we run showcases, and can sometimes get you into a public date too. Nothing's held until it's confirmed in writing, but once it is, that's exactly who turns up.

“We based the date of our wedding on the availability of the band, and we are so glad we did. The band were phenomenal! Everyone danced the night away from the very first song. The guys were so friendly and professional and such a pleasure to have as part of our wedding. We have received so many compliments on just how good, how polished the band were. It absolutely made our day...
You guys totally rocked!”

“I cannot thank Kickback enough for their amazing performance at our wedding. They were absolutely brilliant all evening, we paid for the extra hour set and I am SO glad we did, it was worth every penny and ended the evening on a real high. The band listened to some requests I had, played songs that had some meaning to me, and read the crowd so well. I had so many people say how fantastic the band were and took their details for future events. The vocals of all the members are just insane and I really cannot recommend them enough for any event, book them now you won’t be disappointed!!!”

“Juno were unbelievably good and words really do not do this band justice. Their stage presence and ability to get the crowd going really sets them apart from their competitors. The set list incorporates all the classics and new favourites that get a crowd ranging in ages from 15 - 85 on their feet and dancing throughout the night. Would definitely recommend Juno for any wedding or birthday party. 10/10”

“Thirdwheel, you guys rock!! We all KNOW it?s gonna be a party whenever third wheel are playing ???? Third Wheel always bring the good vibes and we can?t help but get up and dance to every song! Thanks for always making it a night to remember!! Can?t wait for their next gig - we will be there!! ??”

“The Tommy Guns are absolutely amazing. Stunning vocals and music, such a great entertaining vibe. They ensured we had such a great time at our wedding reception - sounded so good and every band member is clearly very talented. They gave us an excellent choice of songs, with huge variety. And all the genres were superb. Very versatile. Even got on board with our inflatable fish we brought out for their performance of Under the Sea. All of our guests loved the band and all the music. Would definitely recommend and would definitely use again. Highly organised and punctual. 5 star excellent and thank you so much!!!”
