Male Tribute Acts in London

Book a male tribute band in London

Whether it's a milestone birthday in central London, an anniversary party near Richmond or a themed night anywhere in London, a male tribute act turns a gathering into a show your guests will talk about. The same act has to work in a hotel ballroom one week and a village hall or back-garden marquee the next, and the best ones do.

A male tribute is built around one unmistakable voice. A good one gets the look, the moves and the between-song banter right as well as the songs, so it feels like a proper show rather than a covers set. Our male tribute acts cover Elvis, Michael Bublé, Frank Sinatra, Rod Stewart, Robbie Williams, Elton John and Freddie Mercury, from solo performers singing to backing tracks through to full live bands, most performing in costume as part of the show. Acts on our books include The Essential Elvis, Supreme Buble, The Ultimate Buble, The Essential Sinatra, The Definitive Rod Stewart, The Essential Robbie, Classic Queen and He Will Rock You.

We've been booking live entertainment since 1999, and every act on this page covers London. Most bring their own sound and lighting and handle the set-up and pack-down themselves. The instant quote button shows the price, availability and exactly what's included for your date.

Across London, tribute nights take place everywhere from country houses to hotel suites and private marquees. Popular venues in London include Syon House at Syon Park, The Lensbury and Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, and our acts regularly travel to parties in and around central London and Greenwich. Tell us where you're holding yours and we'll suggest acts that suit the room.

The essentials:

  • Typical cost: £500 to £2,000, depending on line-up, date and season
  • Your quote shows exactly what's included, from travel to PA and lighting
  • Line-ups from solo tribute artists to full live tribute bands
  • Most parties book several months ahead, sooner for a summer Saturday or December
  • Every booking carries a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Start with the space you have. In a function room, a pub or a marquee in the garden, a solo tribute singing to backing tracks gives you the full show for the lowest cost. For a ballroom, a big hall or a crowd that wants live musicians on stage, a duo or full tribute band is the better fit. We can usually tell you what has worked in similar venues before.

Most bookings fall between £500 and £2,000. Solo tributes performing to backing tracks sit towards the lower end and full live tribute bands towards the upper end, with the day and the time of year making up the rest of the difference — a weekday date can cost less than a Saturday in summer or December. Your quote sets out exactly what's included, so the figure you're given is the figure you pay.

You don't have to take anyone's word for it. Each act's page has video and audio of the real show, their full song list, and reviews from people who have booked them before. Watch a few clips, check the costumes and the voice, and read what other hosts said about the night itself.

Getting a price takes seconds: add your date and venue to the instant quote. After you book, we look after the paperwork, the deposit and every detail with the act, and stay on hand until the night itself. Every booking includes a 14-day change-of-mind refund, plus an emergency line on the night in case anything needs sorting.

FAQs

Solo tributes to singers such as Michael Bublé, Elvis, Rod Stewart, Robbie Williams and Frank Sinatra, and full tribute bands to acts such as Queen and Take That.

Many can — crooner tributes such as Sinatra and Bublé often sing a laid-back set over dinner before moving into party songs later.

Yes — a marquee or a large room at home is a common setting, and a solo tribute in particular needs very little space. The same act can just as easily play a hotel function room or a social club the next weekend.

Usually, yes. Solo and duo tributes need only a small performance area and a standard power supply; for a full band, tell us the room and we'll check the line-up fits comfortably.

Typically £500 to £2,000, depending mainly on whether it's a solo tribute or a full live band, and on the date. Your quote shows exactly what's included.

Most parties book several months ahead, sooner for a summer Saturday or a December date, when the most popular tributes go quickly.

“Hi Lisa,
Now that everything’s calmed down and I’m a bit more caught up with myself, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your help and to let you know that Elton went down an absolute STORM on Saturday night at our Disco Ball.
People are still commenting to me how good he was, and he certainly had everyone up dancing 😊”

“If you are considering adding Wow factor to a party then look no further than the amazing Jay who is a Frank Sinatra impersonator with class, style and panache. My daughter's 21st birthday was the most special event because of his engaging, professional and warm presence. Hireaband made it simple to organize the event and I recommend that you don't hesitate to book Jay now.”

“What a nice bloke, The Definite Rod really was Rod Stewart, he engaged with the audience getting even the most reluctant of participates into the dance floor, clap or sway, making my mother-in-law the talk of the bowls club.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment and would highly recommend David Williams aka Rod Stewart to everyone.

Thank you
Michelle & Pete”

“Alan was fantastic, he played 3 sets with the middle one being Elton John which was fabulous. He read the crowd and knew exactly what would get everyone going. We had a mixed age range and everyone loved it. Highly recommend Alan for any party.
