Jewish Wedding & Event Bands in Wales

Book Jewish wedding and event bands anywhere in Wales

Whether you're planning a wedding or simcha in a city-centre hotel or a country house miles from anywhere, Jewish wedding and event bands in Wales cover the whole region. This page brings together acts that play everywhere from Mumbles, Penarth and Llandudno, so you can compare them side by side.

Across Cardiff, North Wales and Swansea, the Jewish wedding and event bands listed here play weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs and simchas. Use the area links lower down if you'd like a list narrowed to one part of Wales.

Venues across Wales include Sketty Hall, The Celtic Manor Resort, Portmeirion, Oxwich Bay Hotel, Cardiff Castle and Bodysgallen Hall & Spa. It's worth asking yours early about finish times and any sound limiter, as both affect what works on the night.

Not every Jewish wedding and event band does the same job. Within this category you'll find simcha bands, klezmer groups and showbands with a full Jewish and Israeli repertoire, and knowing the feel you want for your wedding or simcha makes the choice much easier.

We've been booking Jewish wedding and event bands since 1999, and every act on this page travels across Wales. PA, lighting and travel are built into the quote, and you can check your date and price straight away with the instant quote button.

The essentials:

  • Typical cost: £1,500 to £4,000, depending on line-up, date and how long the act plays
  • Always included: PA, lighting and travel, in every quote
  • Acts travel to venues right across Wales
  • Summer Saturdays and December dates book up first
  • Every booking carries a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Some venues have sound limiters, early finishes or restrictions on where acts can set up. Check these early, as they can decide which line-up is the better fit for your wedding or simcha.

Smaller line-ups typically start from around £1,500, while bigger acts can reach £4,000 or more. Summer Saturdays and December are the busiest dates. The price in your quote includes PA, lighting and travel, so it won't change once you've booked.

Rather than a generic demo, every act's page shows the actual line-up you'd be booking, with videos, audio and a song list. Underneath are reviews from clients, often at venues you'll recognise.

The instant quote button gives you a price and availability for your date straight away. From there, we manage the contract and deposit and keep you updated until the event. Every booking is covered by a 14-day change-of-mind refund, and there's an emergency contact line on the day in case anything needs sorting.

FAQs

Yes. Every band in this category plays a hora and Israeli dance set, including Hava Nagila and other favourites, and will agree the songs and timing with you before the day.

Many can. Some bands offer an acoustic or klezmer set for the ceremony or drinks reception before the main evening set. Mention it when you enquire and we'll include it in the quote.

Yes. Bands bring their own PA and lighting. Larger showbands need a good-sized stage area and power nearby, so it's worth checking both with your venue, along with any sound limiter.

From around £1,500 for a smaller band to £4,000 or more for a large showband. The number of musicians, the date and the length of the evening make the biggest difference, and travel is always included in the quote.

Yes. Bands experienced with simchas are used to fitting their sets around courses, speeches and the chair lift. They'll agree a running order with you and your caterer or planner in advance.

For weekend weddings and bar mitzvahs, a year or more ahead is common, as the most popular bands book up early. For other dates, a few months' notice is often enough.

The playlist was brilliant and kept a whole range of different ages partying on the dance floor all night! Just what we wanted!! Please pass on our thanks to the band! Also, thank you Irving for being so organised and speedy with responding to our emails and confirming the booking. The service from Hireaband was fab. Many thanks.”

“Dear Hireaband - Very happy with Monte Carlo. The choice of music was good and they got people dancing. The manager of the venue also remarked that the guys were very pleasant and that she would recommend them in future. Only problem for me was I spent so much time talking to people I missed most of the second session. The problem with do's like this for the host!”

(5)

“Garden Party were utterly fantastic. The band members are brilliant, the songs perfect and the performance was out of this world! Can’t wait to have them back!”
