Jewish Wedding & Event Bands in North Wales

Book a band for a Jewish wedding or simcha in North Wales

For a Jewish wedding or bar mitzvah, the band sets the energy of the whole evening. In North Wales, our Jewish event bands are used to big, lively rooms and packed dance floors, and they bring everything from a live hora medley to a polished showband set.

North Wales has a wide choice of event venues, from Ruthin Castle and Bodysgallen Hall & Spa to Plas Dinam. Our bands travel right across the area, including Conwy, Wrexham and Llangollen, and many work regularly with kosher caterers and event planners.

Jewish event bands vary in size and style. Some are large showbands with singers and a horn section, some specialise in klezmer and traditional music, and many combine a hora and Israeli dance set with pop, soul and disco. Watching a couple of videos is the quickest way to find the right fit.

We've been booking live bands since 1999, and every Jewish event band on this page covers North Wales. Travel is built into the quote, the band brings what it needs to be heard, and you can check your date and price straight away with the instant quote button.

The essentials:

  • Typical cost: from around £1,500 for a smaller band to £4,000 or more for a large showband, depending on line-up, date and set times
  • Hora and Israeli dance sets, klezmer and a full party set
  • Ceremony, reception and evening music available
  • Travel is included in every quote
  • Every booking carries a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Start with the size of the celebration and the running order. A large wedding or bar mitzvah suits a showband with several singers and a horn section; a smaller simcha suits a five or six-piece. Tell us when you want the hora and any other key moments, and we'll match you with a band that plans around them.

A five or six-piece typically starts from around £1,500, while a large showband with horns and several singers can reach £4,000 or more. The date and your set times make a difference too. The price in your quote includes travel, so it won't change once you've booked.

Rather than a generic demo, each act's page shows the actual line-up you'd be booking, with videos, audio, a song list and client reviews. Between them you'll get a clear sense of the sound and the show well before the day.

Enter your date and venue in the instant quote button for live pricing and availability. After you book, we look after the contract, deposit and details, and keep in touch right up to the event. You also get a 14-day change-of-mind refund and an emergency contact number to use on the day.

FAQs

Yes. Every band in this category plays a hora and Israeli dance set, including Hava Nagila and other favourites, and will agree the songs and timing with you before the day.

Many can. Some bands offer an acoustic or klezmer set for the ceremony or drinks reception before the main evening set. Mention it when you enquire and we'll include it in the quote.

Yes. Bands bring their own PA and lighting. Larger showbands need a good-sized stage area and power nearby, so it's worth checking both with your venue, along with any sound limiter.

From around £1,500 for a smaller band to £4,000 or more for a large showband. The number of musicians, the date and the length of the evening make the biggest difference, and travel is always included in the quote.

Yes. Bands experienced with simchas are used to fitting their sets around courses, speeches and the chair lift. They'll agree a running order with you and your caterer or planner in advance.

For weekend weddings and bar mitzvahs, a year or more ahead is common, as the most popular bands book up early. For other dates, a few months' notice is often enough.

“Mitzvah Tanz band and dance caller was an absolutely brilliant opening to our wedding party. They got nearly everyone on their feet twirling round the room and everyone else clapping and stamping their feet. It really helped build a feeling of community and warmth that lasted the whole night. I would highly recommend Mitzvah Tanz they were easy to work with, accommodating, reliable and great fun to have around. If you want accessible Klezmer with a modern twist Mitzvah Tanz are for you!'”
