A full night of live music from an experienced, affordable duo
Switch are Alex and Jimmy, an experienced Scottish wedding and party duo who bring years of live performance and real musical chemistry to weddings, anniversaries and private parties across Scotland. They sing and play bass and keys over high-quality backing tracks, so you get the sound of a full band with live vocals and great harmonies.
They cover decades of floor-fillers, from Ed Sheeran and George Ezra to Motown, Oasis and Scottish favourites like Loch Lomond and 500 Miles. They're known for reading a room and keeping guests of every age on the dance floor, with reviews praising how they suited "all ages" and kept the floor "jumping all night long".

We were looking for a band to play at our mother and father’s 65th wedding anniversary. We are based in Australia but we found the Hire A Band website and that made it so easy. We were promptly given a great variety of bands to choose from and the band we selected, Switch Duo, were absolutely brilliant and perfect for our event. Communication prior, during and after with the band was excellent and the lads were very flexible to fit in with the running of the night. They played a great selection of songs that entertained everyone and we have had nothing but great feedback from all that were there. We would highly recommend Switch Duo for any function or party.
