KC and the Nightshift

We hired KC and the Nightshift band for our wedding. The band was absolutely flawless. They had everyone up dancing and sounded amazing. They just topped off what was a really lovely day. I would highly recommend using this band and company too - Hireaband. Brilliant from start to finish. Fantastic service.

The KC and the Nightshift were fantastic! The dancefloor was always full :) The timekeeping was great, set up on time with no issues at all.

We booked KC & The Nightshift for our wedding and they were simply incredible. They kept the dancefloor full the entire evening and also did a fantastic job with the ceilidh, even when it inevitably turned into a shambles! They were great at taking requests as well and I'm so glad we added the horn section. To see them jumping around the dancefloor with the guests was a great sight. They made our special day that much better and I couldn't recommend them highly enough!

The band were absolutely fantastic, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! They really knew how to read the room, they took requests from the crowd, would definitely recommend them to anyone it was such an amazing atmosphere all evening.

KC and the Nightshift were INCREDIBLE! The dancefloor was always full and we had so many people tell us how much they enjoyed the music. They played such a great variety of music, took requests and generally played to the crowd - just brilliant!

KC and the Nightshift were absolutely fabulous. What can I say! You know your band was good when every single guest who contacts you after the wedding mentions the music, the dancing, and especially the saxophone! We absolutely loved them, we just wish we could have booked them into the early hours of the morning to keep the party going, we never wanted it to end! Also a huge shout out to Eve who I was emailing in the build up and after the big day with all the info we needed etc. She has sent so many wonderful well wishes to us, so personal and lovely I feel like I've made a pal!

Band were friendly and professional in all communication both before and on the night. Took time to invite some requests, but their own judgement for song choice was spot-on. Floor-fillers, expertly performed throughout the night. Kept the energy going through the whole night. We received loads of really positive comments from guests. Wouldn't hesitate to hire again.

KC and the Nightshift played at our wedding in December and they were fantastic. The dancefloor was full all night long, which is exactly what we had hoped for. They learned the song for our first dance and even took some requests over the course of the evening. We couldn't have asked for more and would be very happy to recommend them for a wedding or similar event.

Hands down the best wedding band ever! They were just magic - loved the whole thing! Wish we could do it all again.

Everyone loved the music, honestly there wasn't a single 'bad' song played and everyone was up on the dancefloor until the end - including myself and my new husband. KC and the Nightshift were absolutely amazing! They played for our wedding at Dundas Castle and had the guests dancing and singing all night long! Most of our wedding guests travelled from outside the UK, and commented this was the most fun they’ve had at a wedding! Everyone is still talking about how great the band was. Thank you so much for making our wedding a hit!

KC and the nightshift could not be anymore accommodating not only did they learn our first dance at short notice and knock it out of the park, they also paused midset and returned within a few minutes with a new song requested by one of the guests. Absolutely phenomenal we would be honoured to see them again! Would definitely recommend.

STOP! Your search for a band need not go any further!! These guys played at our wedding Oct 2021, they were absolutely incredible! We had an afternoon acoustic duo with Ben and Drew before an evening set up with full band. The dance floor was never empty, great tunes played throughout. They learnt a couple of songs we requested and nailed them both as well as answering song requests on the night from our wedding guests. I can not recommend these guys enough!!

I just wanted to thank you for all your help in arranging our replacement when our original band couldn't make it due to Covid.

KC & the Nightshift were AMAZING - I'll admit I was sceptical initially as they weren't what we'd chosen, but we honestly absolutely loved them. They played tune after tune (and the 2000s pop-punk section went down a storm!) and we got so many compliments about them. We didn't even notice that the ceilidh wasn't live, and they managed to do Florence and the Machine so well for our first dance. We might be biased, but we've been to 4 weddings since our own and they're still the best band we've seen. Please pass on our thanks to them for stepping in last minute - we're so so grateful as they really helped make our day so great!

I just wanted to get in touch following our wedding on 9th September to ask you to pass on my sincerest thanks to the band. They were absolutely amazing and the dance floor was full all night. I just knew as soon as I heard them play at my friend's wedding in 2018 that I had to have them play at my own wedding, and I'm so glad that I did as they did not disappoint! The first three dances with the strings were fantastic and I really appreciate them accommodating this request. Everyone commented on what a brilliant band they were - they really are a head and shoulders above all other wedding bands I've heard!

I wanted to write to express how wonderful KC and the Nightshift were at our wedding. Not only did they learn our first dance song at super short notice, they performed that and every other song to perfection.
We were the first weekend of boogie-ing at weddings and our dancefloor was packing the entire night thanks to an excellent set list and the odd request thrown in! The band were absolutely awesome! Really put a lot of effort into entertaining us, prep for it, they really know their stuff and were extremely flexible and communicative on the run up to the event. If I ever want live entertainment I will hire the guys from KC and the nighshift again and wholeheartedly recomment them to anyone looking for a party band.

Thank you! Your band were fantastic and all the parents at the Ball have been raving about how incredible they were! Parents have been talking about the skill of the musicians, the way they transitioned between songs, the way they “read” the crowd and kept everyone dancing, the energy and fun they brought to the whole evening.
