60s Tribute Acts & Bands in the North West

60s tribute acts covering the whole of the North West

The North West covers a lot of ground, from Morecambe, Didsbury, Lytham St Annes, Southport, Blackburn and Knutsford. Our 60s tribute acts travel right across the region, so wherever your party is, you'll find acts on this page who already know the venues, the roads and the local crowds. They're booked for 60s nights, birthdays and themed parties.

Our listings for the North West take in Blackpool, Cheshire, Cumbria, Lancashire, Lancaster, Liverpool and Manchester. Each of those areas has its own page too, which you'll find in the links further down, but the acts here will travel to any of them.

From Ashton Memorial and The Monastery Manchester to Blackpool Tower Ballroom, Sefton Palm House, Wyresdale Park Wedding Barns and Nunsmere Hall, the venues across the North West range from grand country houses to barns, hotels and city spaces. Our acts are used to adapting to all of them.

Across the North West you can choose from solo tributes and full bands recreating the biggest names and hits of the 60s. Most will take a few requests ahead of the day, and many can learn a special song if you ask.

Hireaband has been booking live entertainment since 1999. Every act listed here covers the North West, and PA, lighting and travel are included in the quote you receive. Use the instant quote button on this page to check prices and availability for your date.

What to know:

  • Budget £500 to £2,000 for most bookings
  • Every quote includes PA, lighting and travel
  • Travel within the North West is never added on later
  • Many acts offer longer or extra sets if you need them
  • Every booking is covered by a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Some venues have sound limiters, early finishes or restrictions on where acts can set up. Check these early, as they can decide which line-up is the better fit for your party.

Most bookings fall between £500 and £2,000. The size of the line-up is the biggest factor, followed by the date and how long the act plays. PA, lighting and travel are included in the quote, so the figure you're given is the figure you pay, wherever you are in the North West.

Rather than a generic demo, every act's page shows the actual line-up you'd be booking, with videos, audio and a song list. Underneath are reviews from clients, often at venues you'll recognise.

Enter your date and venue in the instant quote button for live pricing and availability. After you book, we look after the contract, deposit and details, and keep in touch right up to the event. You also get a 14-day change-of-mind refund and an emergency contact number to use on the day.

FAQs

Everything from Beatles and Four Seasons tributes to Motown and soul shows and all-round 60s party bands playing the decade's biggest hits.

Yes — the songs of the 60s are known across generations, which is why a 60s act is a popular pick for milestone birthdays and anniversaries.

Yes — a marquee or a large room at home is a common setting, and a solo tribute in particular needs very little space. The same act can just as easily play a hotel function room or a social club the next weekend.

Usually, yes. Solo and duo tributes need only a small performance area and a standard power supply; for a full band, tell us the room and we'll check the line-up fits comfortably.

Typically £500 to £2,000, depending mainly on whether it's a solo tribute or a full live band, and on the date. Your quote shows exactly what's included.

Most parties book several months ahead, sooner for a summer Saturday or a December date, when the most popular tributes go quickly.

“You were incredible - the attention to detail, the respect shown to the original songs, the overall sound and balance, with the powerful lead vocals, and the stunning harmonies were as true to the originals they were playing. I have seen the guys before, yet, I felt privileged to witness a fantastic display of talent and professionalism. Well done The Authentic 60's, excellent work.”

“Many thanks for arranging the Band to play at the Rose & Crown. This is the first band we have booked and thanks for making it so easy…The guys were fantastic and we will certainly be asking them back through the year. We do have a wide spread of ages in the village and all enjoyed the night. Thanks again, all the best, Phil”

“Chloe and the guys were absolutely superb and it took my dad and his friends back to the 1950’s and the rock n roll they grew up with. What made it really good for them was seeing it being performed by a young enthusiastic band, just as it was when the were young, its not every night you see 80 year olds jiving...”

“Hi Nicola, I just wanted to give you some feedback from our party on the 12th with Just John and Paul. The boys were amazing everyone loved them. They arrived early and were professional in their approach and appearance I cannot say how much they made the night go with the great success that it was. Once again many thanks.”

“I would just like to write and say a huge thank you to The Essential Jersey Boys for their performance on Friday night at our black tie Wintertime Ball. They were very professional, sounded amazing and it was a pleasure to have them around. They were easy to talk to, asked for nothing but gave a lot. The band were just like having Frankie Valli and the 4 seasons here, great sound, everyone dancing and all our guests had nothing but positive comments. Great band, great bunch of lads. Thank you.”

“Wow just wow.
We have just had Soul Sensations at our Music on the Prom event althrough the weather wasn't the best (wind and rain) these guys put on a cracking show. We have seen Motown acts before but nothing like this. The high energy, the dance moves, the vocals, the harmonising - oh my the harmonising. What a show, what a performance, what a day. We would highly recommend Soul Sensations and hopefully we will see them again at Music on the Prom. Just get them booked!”
