60s Tribute Acts in Derbyshire

Book a 60s tribute band in Derbyshire

A 60s tribute act in Derbyshire is one of the easiest ways to give a party a theme and a proper centrepiece. Hotels and function rooms around Derby and Chesterfield, social clubs near Matlock and marquees at home across Derbyshire all make good settings for birthdays, anniversaries, reunions and company celebrations.

Beatles songs, Motown and the Merseybeat sound still fill a dance floor, and they cross the generations better than almost any other decade: grandparents know every word, and so do their grandchildren. Our 60s tribute acts cover The Beatles, the Four Seasons, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Cher and the great Motown and soul acts of the decade, from solo performers singing to backing tracks through to full live bands, most performing in costume as part of the show. Acts on our books include The Essential Beatles, Just John and Paul, The Essential Jersey Boys, The Essential Diana Ross & Motown Show, Soul Sensations, Peachy Beat and The Authentic 60s.

Since 1999 Hireaband has matched acts to parties across the UK, and everyone listed here performs in Derbyshire. Most arrive with their own PA and lights and look after set-up and clear-down, so you can enjoy the night. Check your date with the instant quote for pricing and a clear list of what's included.

Parties in Derbyshire range from black-tie nights at venues such as Tissington Hall to relaxed celebrations at Thornbridge Hall or The West Mill, and plenty more in hotels and clubs around Derby and Chesterfield. Every act listed here travels to Derbyshire, so you can choose on the show rather than the postcode.

The essentials:

  • Typical cost: £500 to £2,000, depending on line-up, date and season
  • Your quote shows exactly what's included, from travel to PA and lighting
  • Line-ups from solo tribute artists to full live tribute bands
  • Most parties book several months ahead, sooner for a summer Saturday or December
  • Every booking carries a 14-day change-of-mind refund

The right line-up depends on the room and the budget more than the guest list. Solo tributes perform to professional backing tracks, need very little floor space and are the most affordable option. A duo or full live band brings real instruments, more volume and more of a concert feel, which suits a larger hall or a bigger crowd. Tell us about the venue and we'll point you towards what fits.

Most bookings fall between £500 and £2,000. Solo tributes performing to backing tracks sit towards the lower end and full live tribute bands towards the upper end, with the day and the time of year making up the rest of the difference — a weekday date can cost less than a Saturday in summer or December. Your quote sets out exactly what's included, so the figure you're given is the figure you pay.

You don't have to take anyone's word for it. Each act's page has video and audio of the real show, their full song list, and reviews from people who have booked them before. Watch a few clips, check the costumes and the voice, and read what other hosts said about the night itself.

Getting a price takes seconds: add your date and venue to the instant quote. After you book, we look after the paperwork, the deposit and every detail with the act, and stay on hand until the night itself. Every booking includes a 14-day change-of-mind refund, plus an emergency line on the night in case anything needs sorting.

Everything from Beatles and Four Seasons tributes to Motown and soul shows and all-round 60s party bands playing the decade's biggest hits.

Yes — the songs of the 60s are known across generations, which is why a 60s act is a popular pick for milestone birthdays and anniversaries.

Yes — a marquee or a large room at home is a common setting, and a solo tribute in particular needs very little space. The same act can just as easily play a hotel function room or a social club the next weekend.

Usually, yes. Solo and duo tributes need only a small performance area and a standard power supply; for a full band, tell us the room and we'll check the line-up fits comfortably.

“Extremely happy with the band, they made the night! Everybody has been commenting on how good they were. The quality and choice of the music was perfect they had everyone from the kids too our grandparents dancing. Would definitely recommend The Essential 60's to everyone. Could you please pass on our apologies to the band, as it was such a busy night we did not have chance to thank to the band properly and we would have liked too!”

“Closing the evening out was the superbly presented three-girl vocal and dance act
The Angelettes.
This Motown-tribute show, performed by a trio of stunningly clad brunettes, could
conceivably become a market-leading attraction on this showing. Large theatrestyle
cruise venues must be the natural target for this act.
Image and dance skills dovetail perfectly here with considerable vocal ability.
This is an act which, if pitched correctly, could be one of the cabaret finds of 2012.”

“The boys were Absolutely Bloody Marvellous. All of the guests (60+) thought they were amazing and as a result we are "the talk of the town". It will be hard to beat the performance that they gave, along with the crowd participation, Elton John or Robbie Williams couldn't have done better. All in all, well worth the money and I would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone of any age group.”

“What a great show on Saturday, I have had some fantastic feedback from club members saying that you are the best thing they have heard and seen in a long time!” We’ll definitely be booking the band again. “The band were a great success and really added a touch of professionalism to the whole event. The audience new all the songs and what a great set for a great day”

“Last night (31st Jan), was the second time we have seen you, the first time we saw you, we were blown away with just how good you sounded, and last night confirmed just how good you really are. We have recently passed our 50th birthday, so we both enjoy the 60's era. Thank you for another fantastic evening of Good Music again. Hopefully seeing you again soon.”

“The girls were amazing singing 10/10 routine 10/10 costumes 10/10. Three of the
most stunning girls on stage that held a crowd all night. They got the bar singing
and dancing from the word go! This bar is normally empty around 9.30 on a regular
friday, not tonight , it was still very busy right till the end of the final set ! Well done
girls!”
