Overview
The Forget-Me-Nots are one of the newest additions to Scotland's wedding and events scene — a 7-piece disco, funk and soul band built around a genuinely live horn section, a tight rhythm section, and vocals that do real justice to Earth, Wind & Fire, Donna Summer, Bee Gees and more. What you get is proper musicianship at a price that won't break the budget.
With a groovy horn section, killer vocals, and an unstoppable rhythm section, this band is blowing up fast. Whether you're looking for a fun, energetic wedding band or top-class entertainment for your corporate function or party, The Forget-Me-Nots will keep the energy high and the party happenin' at any event.
Expect a wide range of disco, funk and soul classics, plus modern hits inspired by those same grooves — think Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Dua Lipa — alongside timeless floor-fillers from ABBA, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, and a few classic 90s and 00s dance tunes thrown in too. There's something for everyone.
We'll learn your first dance or a specific request so it can be performed live, and we offer daytime entertainment options too, including a roaming set, before we come together for the full 7-piece experience to dance the night away.
What really sets The Forget-Me-Nots apart is how they bring you right into the music. The band perform with wireless mics, so they're free to interact and engage directly with the crowd rather than staying rooted to the stage — whether that's roaming during your drinks reception, weaving between courses at dinner, or joining you on the dance floor at night.
If you'd like it, a 15–30 minute ceilidh set can be added to your package too — played through backing tracks and called live by one of the performers, so it's easy fun rather than a full live ceilidh band.

A huge thank you to The Forget Me Nots who rocked our wedding in Glasgow on the 30th of May. Never been at a wedding with so many people dancing. It was amazing to see everyone enjoying themselves so much. I didn't know wedding bands could be that good. Great tunes and so much energy. Thanks a million xxx
Thank you all so much for making our day so unforgettable. It was just fantastic to see our friends and family all having such a blast. What a brilliant choice of songs - there really was something for everyone. I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to thank you all personally on the night, but what a night you gave us. The awards went on a bit over schedule so thanks for your patience. People acutally ran to the dance floor from the first song and you kept them there for the rest of the night. I've contacted Hireaband to get you booked up for next year too.
