Northern Star

Lots of positive feedback from our guests, everyone loved the music and the band. We also had a couple people asking the name of the band so they could use you for there events. Song choices was spot on, brilliant for the dance floor it didn’t feel like it stopped which was what we wanted. There was a minor hick up with the Drummer being late due to a crash on the road but the band was really good in keeping us informed. They say they have a 30 minute break, it didn’t feel like 30 minutes it felt more like 10 which was brilliant. I think we all needed it, then they was straight back into it. Highly recommend Northern Star if you are looking for an up beat dance floor 10/10 from us and all the guests couldn’t praise them more. Thank you guys.

The band were amazing. Everyone had a great time and they did a great job playing the wide range of requests on the night.

Northern Star arrived in plenty time in horrendous driving conditions due to storm, set up sound checked and were ready to perform, and perform they did, very talented individuals who entertained our Xmas Party guests very well.

Northern Star were absolutely amazing! We picked our date around getting them as music is important to us. Completely made our evening reception which was the perfect ending to the most perfect day. We loved how they made it personal to us and adapted to requested songs which wouldn’t be seen as traditional wedding type tunes. Became our very own personal gig and we will always remember how fantastic they were! Would highly recommend both Hire a Band and Northern Star.

We would like to thank Northern Star for making our wedding evening. They were exactly what we thought they would be…excellent! The songs they played were 10/10 and played a lot of songs we requested. They brought an excellent energy to the evening and everyone keeps asking who our band was as they were brilliant.

The band was excellent and provided a great selection of music as well as accommodating our requests for lots of ceilidh music. They kept the dance floor full throughout the night and we would definitely recommend them to other people for their weddings!

Northern Star were absolutely incredible. Both my wife and I, and our guests, loved them! We were up dancing all night, and we especially loved all the pop punk songs as well. We have had a lot of guests commenting how great the band were! Our first dance was amazing as well, nowhere near as nerve racking as we had imagined it to be. Northern Star performed during our wedding reception. They were really great across a wide range of music genres and read the room really well, adjusting their setlist in response to our guests - even doing a special little pop punk section which we loved. They were fun and sounded great. We would definitely recommend them.

Thank you! Your band were fantastic and all the parents at the Ball have been raving about how incredible they were! Parents have been talking about the skill of the musicians, the way they transitioned between songs, the way they “read” the crowd and kept everyone dancing, the energy and fun they brought to the whole evening. They really made the evening into a very special celebration.
