Guitarists in the South East

Find guitarists for your wedding or event in the South East

From Woking, Newport, Canterbury, Kensington, High Wycombe and Southampton, the South East has a huge choice of venues and a busy calendar of ceremonies, drinks receptions and dinners. The guitarists on this page cover the whole region, and many play several dates a month within it.

This region page covers Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Kent, London, Oxfordshire, Surrey and West Sussex. If you already know which area your venue is in, the links below take you to the page for that area, with venues and acts picked for it.

Venues across the South East that our acts know well include Gate Street Barn and Barton Manor, Port Lympne and Syon House at Syon Park, and Hartwell House & Spa and Royal Southern Yacht Club. Every venue has its own space, power supply and finish time, and we'll check those with the act for you.

Across the South East you can choose from classical, Spanish, jazz and acoustic pop guitarists. Most will take a few requests ahead of the day, and many can learn a special song if you ask.

We've been booking guitarists since 1999, and every act on this page travels across the South East. Travel and any amplification are built into the quote, and you can check your date and price straight away with the instant quote button.

What to know:

  • Budget £250 to £900 for most bookings
  • Every quote includes travel and any amplification
  • Travel within the South East is never added on later
  • Many acts offer longer or extra sets if you need them
  • Every booking is covered by a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Some venues have sound limiters, early finishes or restrictions on where acts can set up. Check these early, as they can decide which line-up is the better fit for your wedding or event.

Most bookings fall between £250 and £900. The size of the line-up is the biggest factor, followed by the date and how long the act plays. Travel and any amplification are included in the quote, so the figure you're given is the figure you pay, wherever you are in the South East.

Rather than a generic demo, every act's page shows the actual line-up you'd be booking, with videos, audio and a song list. Underneath are reviews from clients, often at venues you'll recognise.

Enter your date and venue in the instant quote button for live pricing and availability. After you book, we look after the contract, deposit and details, and keep in touch right up to the event. You also get a 14-day change-of-mind refund and an emergency contact number to use on the day.

“Hi. We would like to record our appreciation to Declan Daniel for the music he played at our wedding reception last Saturday. Many of the guests commented on the quality of his playing and there is no doubt that Declan's music added a very special ingredient to our special day. Please pass on our thanks and best wishes for his musical career. Many thanks also for a very efficient service. Best wishes”

“We hired Paul for our wedding as he was highly recommended by some friends and we wanted something different from the normal wedding type band and defo made the right decision, his set was varied covering loads of different genres and loved his 90’s set which got everyone up dancing and singing along! For a solo act he brings such a large sound and fills a room with ease. If your looking for something a bit different from the average wedding/function band then Paul Wilson is the man for you!”

“The Essential Acoustic Guitarist was excellent - on time arriving (considering he had a long journey), well presented and music was excellent also, superb talents. I would definitely want to use him again”

“Jesse was a complete professional and delivered our wedding songs beautifully. We asked Jesse to learn some songs that were personal to us and he didn't disappoint. He was honest and realistic with us to ensure that it met our expectations which was really appreciated as we all know how important it is to have that perfect wedding day. Lots of our guests commented on his performance and loved the music. Would highly recommend.”

“We booked Marcus for our wedding reception at the beginning of August. I would thoroughly recommend him for any similar events. Communication prior was prompt & courteous, insurances etc provided for the venue without any hassle. Most importantly on the day itself he was professional, and all of the guests very much enjoyed his performances. Thank you Marcus for your involvement in our special day”
