Fleet Street

Fleet Street played at my 60th birthday at the Trades Hall in Glasgow.

They were excellent.

There were some specific songs that we wanted played at certain times and they did this. Also there were a variety of ages at the event and they included a great mix of songs that suited all ages and tastes. The dance floor was never empty.

A big thank you to Colin and all in the band. And from the positive feedback I have had from family and friends, I am sure that you will be getting some repeat business.

Thank you to Fleet Street and here’s our review. They arrived on time and spoke to us about what their plan was for the night. They played a variety of songs from different decades to suit everyone’s taste, and everyone was up dancing the night away which was great to see. At the ceilidh section they talked us through each move, so everyone knew the steps which was really handy to know. The guests commented on how good they were & we would definitely recommend Fleet Street

Fleet Street provided an incredible set with bags of energy and fantastic musical ability.
So many of our guest commented on how amazing the band were. We would thoroughly recommend them, and definitely want to use them for future events.

My experience in finding, booking and the delivery from Hireaband and Fleet Street where nothing short of exemplary. The website was intuitive and easy to listen to each bands sets using the pre-recorded songs listed. Having expressed interest on the website, I was in contact with Gaye Young who was absolutely professional in all matters and provided me with the documentation I required in a timely matter. Having tried to book a band relatively close to the event and finding them pre-booked, Gaye found me alternatives who were all appropriate but the band Fleet Street caught my attention. The event went fantastically and really was to do with the atmosphere provided by the band, led by Colin. They arrived early, set up quickly and played an awesome set with some personal twists being a country themed event. All communication between myself as the event organiser and themselves was seamless prior to the event. Should I find myself organising another party, I will definitely be looking at Hireaband in the future and Fleet Street if available.

My experience with Fleet Street was absolutely fantastic and really was instrumental in the delivery of a great work party. The band lead, Colin, was professional in all communications prior to the event and helped me get some extra paperwork finished prior to the event that the venue wanted last minute. On the evening, the band arrived early, got booked in and set up quickly and efficiently. Having asked Colin to play us some Western themed songs in line with our theme, the band added some extra tracks to their set in order to help us which was greatly appreciated. The band was an instant hit, providing loads of atmosphere and really helped the party feel like a party and not just a BBQ in fancy dress. The band were evidently passionate about playing and it came across in the music and vocals that covered loads of classics party tunes. The band even provided some Ceilidh at the request of the audience which went down very well. By the end of the night the event was success and universally the feedback from the attendees was that the band was the stand out feature and a great choice. Speaking with the band members at the end of the night really helped me understand how excited they were to get to play at these events. All in, Fleet Street were brilliant entertainers and I'm confident I will book them again should I be organising another event in the area.

Just thought I’d e-mail and say a massive thank you to you and the rest of the band for a fantastic performance last night!
Everyone enjoyed themselves and it was so good to see everyone dancing and enjoying themselves again.
The dance floor was never empty, exactly the same as it was at Laura & Phil’s wedding years ago!
I hope you have loads of bookings lined up now that restrictions are lifted.

I didn’t get a chance to catch you all after the wedding last night at loch Green.
I was one of the Bestmen and I just wanted to say thank you again for an absolutely. Outstanding performance! The room was bouncing the whole night and everyone just loved it!
I spoke to you at the break and said you had played at our wedding back in May of 2014! And you have still got it! It’s was absolutely out of this world just as u were back then!
So thank you all so much for making the night even more memorable!

I hope you guys get back to a bit of normality now that the weddings are getting back on track! I would hate to think what you have had to go through the last 18 plus months !!!!!
