David was truly fantastic. The Dance floor was packed from the moment he started singing to the end of the dj .His voice is amazing.Song set list has something everyone will Love.
Our first dance was perfect as well. I can not stress enough how great the whole night was with David. All the guests loved it as well.

Just blown away with David - we were hosting an intimate dinner party for 16 close family & friends for my 50th birthday BUT … I also wanted great music, fun, dancing & laughter…. David brought that in abundance… all my guests commented on the gorgeous tone of his voice but also how well he handled all my demands and incessant requests for songs lol .. David you made my 50th go with a bang and ensured myself, Neil & all our guests have been left with so many happy & fun memories … can I do it all again for my 51st lol

David was outstanding, our guests loved him.

David was outstanding - extremely good vocals, great selection of songs and kept the guests entertained and engaged. Loved listening to him amongst mingling with the guests and wished I could have just sat and listened to him for longer. Managed to grab a chat with him at the end of his performance and he was extremely nice and took the time to ask about our day and our plans for honeymoon etc.
I would absolutely recommend David to any friends looking for a musical performance at their wedding or other event.

Hireaband were great to deal with. They made everything very easy and sent communications after the booking - this made it very easy for me to keep track of upcoming payments etc as I had wedding brain ! David McKellar himself was a true professional and what a voice ! He played old and new songs and kept the crowd entertained during our wedding drinks reception. Lovely guy and a beautiful singer. David done a fantastic job singing on the day of our wedding, I would highly recommend him to anyone.
All guests were commenting saying how good he was and interacting with them all which made such a difference. They were all up dancing and having the best time thanks to him.

David played during our drinks reception at Cornhill Castle. We got married in our church so we had travelling time between venues. Some guests including the bridal party got caught in traffic due to an accident but quite a few of the guests managed to get diverted and made it to the venue on time. David was able to keep everyone entertained while waiting on everyone else to arrive and while we didn’t get to enjoy his music all our guests commented on how great he was and how he helped create a nice atmosphere. On his way out David make an effort to speak to both of us before he left as we were coming back from getting photos and heading for our meal.

David was amazing on our day and we received so many compliments about how great he was. He created a great atmosphere for our guests and were so pleased he could be there to entertain on our big day.

We hired David McKellar to play during the meal at our wedding in December. He was excellent and provided exactly the relaxed atmosphere that we were looking for. He played a whole acoustic setlist, interacted with our guests and took requests. Would happily recommend David, he was fantastic.

David stepped in last minute to cover another artist who had a family bereavement. From the start he was warm and friendly and immediately put us at ease during a stressful time. His playing and singing was beautiful during our ceremony and we had multiple guests comment on how good he was during our drinks reception. He kept things light hearted and fun and even got one of our brothers up for a dance-off which was hilarious. He has a beautiful voice and a lovely personality - we would absolutely recommend him.

David was amazing from start to finish and so interactive with our guests and had them laughing singing and dancing along , his versions of songs were amazing and has a fantastic voice we are unbelievably happy we hired him for our wedding day!

Thanks to Gaye for all the help and excellent service. Also thanks to David for such an excellent performance, he was great with our guests and had us all signing along together...he was brilliant and we would just like to say thanks again !

David was brilliant during our wedding reception, we wanted someone to get everyone in dancing/ party mode and David certainly did that! He was great with the crowd and everyone really enjoyed his music! Great singing voice and great choice of music.
He was great at getting in touch with us before and after our wedding.

I just want to leave some feedback as we cannot thank David McKellar enough for how well he performed at our wedding. Even before the wedding took place, his communication the whole way through was perfect.

David sang during our ceremony and drinks reception and was fantastic!! He did exactly what we asked him to do and more! He had good banter with our guests during his set for the drinks reception which provided a great atmosphere and the songs he choose were spot on! So many of our guests commented on how good he was and how it was such a nice touch for the ceremony and drinks reception. We would highly recommend David and cannot wait to go see him perform again. Excellent service from Hireaband and they are very accommodating considering we had to make a few changes to our entertainment due to Covid. James and I have done our peaks of the weekend and you featured on both of our lists. It really make the biggest difference to have live music after dinner to get the party started, and your playing and singing was amazing. You hit the tone bang on to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere where everyone felt like they could really let your hair down and we’re both so grateful to you for being so accommodating.

We hope you have a fab summer now that things seem to be getting back to a bit more of a normal place. We’ll definitely be recommending you to friends whenever we can.
