Acoustic Musicians in Wales

Book acoustic musicians anywhere in Wales

Whether you're planning a wedding or event in a city-centre hotel or a country house miles from anywhere, acoustic musicians in Wales cover the whole region. This page brings together acts that play everywhere from Llandudno, Cardiff Bay and Swansea Marina, so you can compare them side by side.

Across Cardiff, North Wales and Swansea, the acoustic musicians listed here play drinks receptions, dinners and relaxed parties. Use the area links lower down if you'd like a list narrowed to one part of Wales.

From Ruthin Castle and Miskin Manor to Fairyhill, Plas Dinam, Coed-y-Mwstwr and Craig y Nos Castle, the venues across Wales range from grand country houses to barns, hotels and city spaces. Our acts are used to adapting to all of them.

The category covers acoustic soloists, duos and trios playing unplugged pop, soul and folk. Their pages show exactly what each one plays, so you can match the act to your guests and your venue.

We've been booking acoustic musicians since 1999, and every act on this page travels across Wales. Travel and any amplification are built into the quote, and you can check your date and price straight away with the instant quote button.

The essentials:

  • Typical cost: £350 to £1,400, depending on line-up, date and how long the act plays
  • Always included: travel and any amplification, in every quote
  • Acts travel to venues right across Wales
  • Summer Saturdays and December dates book up first
  • Every booking carries a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Wales is a large area, so it's worth mentioning your venue's exact location when you enquire. Acts based nearby often have more availability and more experience of local venues, and we'll point you towards them.

Smaller line-ups typically start from around £350, while bigger acts can reach £1,400 or more. Summer Saturdays and December are the busiest dates. The price in your quote includes travel and any amplification, so it won't change once you've booked.

Every act's page has video and audio of the performers who would actually play at your wedding or event, a full song list and written reviews from people who have booked them. It's the easiest way to judge the style before you commit.

Use the instant quote button on this page to see prices and availability for your date. Once you've chosen an act, we handle the contract, the deposit and the arrangements, and stay in touch through to the day. Every booking includes a 14-day change-of-mind refund, and an emergency contact line is available on the day if anything needs sorting quickly.

“Jessie was amazing from the minute we first spoke to him, so chilled and made everything stress free which is exactly what we wanted. He has the most incredible voice and his performance of our first dance was honestly unreal, we actually preferred it to the original! Even with only 30 guests at the wedding party, he still managed to fill the dance floor with the DJ set later on. We cannot thank him enough.”

“Thank you so much for your contribution to Caroline and Gustavo's wedding on Saturday. Your playing was absolutely fabulous and gave the Spanish Theme a wonderful lift. It was absolutely lovely and so many people commented on how beautifully you played and how great the tunes were. Everyone appreciated your contribution to the day and it made such a difference. Many many thanks.”

“Declan was a breath of fresh air- not only was he professional but put us both at ease knowing that the music was in the best hands. We received loads of compliments about the ceremony and drinks reception music Declan played. He chatted away to some of our guests before he headed off which was lovely. Would recommend Declan 100% to anyone and only wish we had another event to book him for!”

“Tommy & Sons were absolutely fabulous. We loved their sets, and so did all our guests. They were genuinely lovely people, and some of our guests were able to get up and sing with them. This was brilliant! Couldn't be happier with our choice to hire Tommy & Sons; comms between hireaband, and the band were excellent and we hope to use them again in the future. Thank you!”

“We thought Ian Was amazing! All our guests said how brilliant his voice was and how much they enjoyed his take on classic songs. He was very easy to contact when we were planning everything and even agreed to sing a few songs in memory of my late Mum and Dad. We booked him immediately after hearing him on an agency web site! Thanks for being a part of our special day Ian.”

“I hope you got back ok on Saturday night. We just wanted to thank you for making our wedding evening so perfect. The music was amazing and everyone really enjoyed it. Slightly biased, but I have never been to a wedding when the dance floor has been so full for so much of the night! Looking forward to seeing the photos. Thanks again”
