The hall trades on real historic character rather than a themed makeover, and the estate takes only one wedding a day, so for the whole event the house and grounds belong entirely to one couple and their guests.
Several of the principal rooms are individually licensed for ceremonies, most notably the Drawing Room and the Morning Room, which gives couples a genuine choice of atmosphere rather than a single default space, and between them the licensed rooms can take up to 118 for a ceremony and up to 200 for a reception.
