Overview
Uptown Groove have been created with the highest quality of musicianship in mind. Their Three Piece option is a smaller band line up compared to standard function bands and without drums - it makes them a venues dream, especially those with sound limiters. There's nothing worse than the band being cut off in the middle of the first dance! But don't worry, the quality doesn't suffer, they use professional backing tracks to enhance their sound and you wouldn't even know to listen to it!!
Uptown Groove offer versatility that can't always be accomplished by a larger band. They have performed throughout the UK, Europe and Middle East and are equally comfortable performing to 500 at a corporate event or 30 people at an intimate party. Whatever your requirements they can cater for them!
The standard three piece lineup combines live guitar, DJ and female vocals with their professional backing tracks. They can also perform as a full four piece band with sax to bring an even bigger sound.

Thank you so much for the wonderful live music you provided during our recent wedding celebration. You got us and the guests dancing the whole night. As the bride and groom, we really didn't want to leave the dancefloor to talk to our guests as we were enjoying the music too much! Would definitely recommend you to others
Uptown Groove were excellent. They were friendly, professional and had a fantastic mix of songs from all genres and could sing them - particularly Rosie. What a voice. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
The band we hired were Uptown Groove and I can't recommend them highly enough. They played two sets and managed to get the music just right according to the crowd and the dance floor was never empty. We will be hiring them again for our future events.
The Band were fantastic. Booked as a four piece, vocal, guitar, sax & trumpet. Their individual abilities were all outstanding and together they sounded superb. I booked the band wanting a group that would provide a great mix of modern and 80's style dance music for a wedding. I got exactly what i asked for, sounding as good, if not better than the original tracks! Thank you for Saturday night. It was a fab party and you and the band were great. We loved the Jazz at the beginning (brilliant sax and guitar) and I really enjoyed playing with you----I think the guests enjoyed the theatre of me ripping off my abaya! The singer had a fantastic voice and the three of you really enthused the room to get everyone dancing. Thank you for being so flexible with timings etc. We will certainly recommend you.
