The Slinky Band have established a reputation for great entertainment with a fresh, contemporary feel while at the same time catering for audiences who enjoy some of the great pop classics. They have one of the most varied and extensive repertoire's we've ever seen, something which ensures dance floors are bouncing at every engagement they have! From Indie & Britpop to Motown & Swing, with a touch of Rap & Hip Hop and Classic Rock thrown in for good measure there's quite literally something for everyone here, done refreshingly in Slinky's very own inimitable way. Oh, and not to forget some of the current bangers doing the rounds right now, from the likes of Avicii, Daft Punk & Swedish House Mafia.

As you'd expect, this professional outfit have excellent equipment, state of the art PA and lighting. They're fully insured and their equipment is regularly serviced and PAT tested. The band can supply music around live sets and a full professional DJ service is available as an upgrade upon request.
They're always dressed appropriately - formal where required or smart casual for less formal events - this is totally at your discretion.

I had to take 6 weeks off after my wedding as my appendix ruptured a week after the wedding...... so lucky it did not happen on the day. Slinky were absolutely brilliant, we had lots of great comments about them and they kept the dance floor busy all night. In fact thanks to them lending us the sound system we kept everyone dancing until after 2am!! They were a good bunch of lads and receptive to my drunken father?s requests. I would definitely recommend them.

Dave Scott, The Hilton Manchester Slinky - a very professional outfit and very approachable and accommodating. They dealt with all requests that were given to them, from the chief bridesmaid announcing our first dance to introducing my Nan so she could do a speech. Afterwards they even played acoustic guitar in the bar! Slinky are highly recommended!!
