The Flying Finns are great guys and very easy to get on with. They really made the party enjoyable and got a crowd going and played some awesome tunes. A+ band

I just wanted to follow up. The music for Laura and Ray’s wedding and the night before were just amazing! Thanks for all that you did to make the wedding a complete success! This was my first wedding in England but for sure will be calling you for anything else we may have across the pond.

If you’re looking for a band who can come onstage to a marquee full of people quietly chatting and drinking and within minutes turn them into full-scale dance machine with everybody in the place laughing and enjoying themselves, then I think The Flying Finns might be the act for you. Guests at our event (held to raise funds to prevent the destruction of a greenbelt zone) ranged from 20s to 60s, But all were captivated by the humour, professionalism and generally good time emanating from rom the band. I am a professional filmmaker and have shot an l lot of promo videos for bands, from Europe (yep, “the final countdown”) to Paul Young to AC/DC, and The Flying Finns have that same charismatic quality that you see in all these massively successful bands. For a 3 piece they also a pack a monster sound, and over the course of three sets in one evening they played not only the Gay Gordons and other traditional stuff but also Sex, Drugs and Rock ’n’ Roll and People Are Strange by The Doors – not something you hear from average Ceilidh band. I would highly recommend them if you’re having any kind of function we want to get the whole crowd involved. Oh and did I mention they’re very nice guys as well?

The Flying Finns music was irresistibly danceable. Their energetic and extremely skilled performance created a highly festive air. Their interpretations of folk music were as original as it was entertaining. I would not hesitate in recommending this hugely professional band

I was dubious booking before I had heard them properly but was THRILLED with their performance. They made the evening, they were friendly, lively, play every type of music and a proper treat. I would highly recommend them and now have to find an excuse for another party to get them back a second time! Thank you Flying Finns!

The Flying Finns were absolutely brilliant and exactly what we were after. This was a big corporate party for a young audience and they were fun and a modern take on a ceilidh band. I highly recommend them for any event as they would be great regardless of audience.

The Flying Finns played superbly at my pub conference at Laverstoke Park

The Flying Finns played at our wedding recently in Lichfield, they had travelled up from London especially. We were really impressed with their set and talent. I would highly recommend for an occasion. All our guests commented on how fantastic they sounded. So happy we booked them.

I booked The Flying Finns to play for my wedding and I was astonished by their ability to play almost any genre of music. They have a really lively act and are very down-to-earth, polite and professional to work with. It was clear that they really love playing music and their energy and enthusiasm infused the whole evening. The wedding reception was running late with the speeches and food, so The Flying Finns wandered around the tables playing violin and guitar acoustically before they played their evening set….It was magical. If I ever get married again, The Flying Finns will be my band of choice!!
