The Essential Elvis

He is the best

Paul was fantastic as Elvis. He was a great entertainer and mingled with the crowd. 2nd time using Hireaband and it definitely want be my last. Just have to decide whats next.

Paul not only performed AT our wedding, he PERFORMED our wedding (blessing)!
It has been a dream of mine to get married by Elvis, and Paul helped that come true in August 2025.
He not only sang us down the aisle, but led us through the 'Elvis vows' and then sang us back down with Burnin' Love and THEN came back to sing our first dance and kick off our reception with a 45 min set! He was so great and such a hit, I'm pretty sure the guests came for us, but only left talking about him!
Lovely and communicative, he did such a great job and many of our guests (and us) were completely blown away! Definitely brought a little something extra to the day and he helped make it absolutely perfect!

I have been an Elvis fan since I was a teenager. Until I heard Paul Thorpe sing I would never have believed anyone could successfully impersonate him. I was wrong. Paul’s voice and delivery are second to none. When he sings it feels uncannily like Elvis is in the building! I had seen Paul perform twice before and I managed to book him for my birthday party last Saturday.
His charisma, appearance and that amazing voice are extraordinary. He is a very professional and warm person who interacts well with his audience. If you are lucky enough to see him perform, you will not be disappointed.

I saw Paul for the first time at Guildford cathedral. I had a fantastic time as he transported my friend and I to our youth. He not only sang amazingly, He looked fantastic, and most importantly he is such a wonderful human being by the way he cares about his band and audience. He worked hard at seeing that everyone was able to see him in that large audience.
Thank you for being you Paul!😊

We saw this amazing Elvis impersonator last night in our local club. What a fabulous act, best Elvis I have seen took me right back to my teens. We will hopefully have him again in the New Year. Brilliant 🎤👏👏👏

We saw Paul for the 3rd time on Saturday. His voice & charisma was just perfect. A true Elvis experience. We have seen several Elvis tributes, but none as good as Paul. Looking forward to seeing him again at his next local tribute night. ❤️

SIMPLY THE BEST
Paul is the BEST Elvis tribute I have ever seen , totally professional and a true inspiration to watch he has you mesmerised with his voice and moves. cannot wait for march 9th 2024 as he is doing a show for me at my wedding reception.

I met Paul whilst on holiday in Gran Canaria in 2003, and have been to numerous gigs over the years since, Paul is an amazing singer, and the best Elvis tribute artist I've ever heard and I'm a massive Elvis fan, Paul was the sole entertainer at my 50th Birthday in 2015, our wedding in 2019 and hoping he will come back for my 60th in 2025, I would highly recommend him to everyone, great entertainer, true gent and absolute true friend, Elvis Presley's memory will live on as long as we have Paul Thorpe ❤️

I have known Paul for over 20 years and have seen his show numerous times. Every show is fantastic. Paul is a consumate professional and first class Elvis tribute.

Paul is definitely the best Elvis impersonator I have ever seen. His voice is outstanding, his mannerisms and speaking voice are just like the real thing. His floor shows never ever disappoint and are quite spectacular.

Amazing voice, amazing shows, known Paul for 27 years and he's as good now as ever, wowed all the people at my wedding.

The professional performance his outstanding voice and engagement with the audience

Always going to watch Paul when he performs in Manchester. Gets the place going like you think you are in Vegas. Best Elvis I have seen, in fact you might even like Elvis after Paul in case you didn’t like Elvis before. Keep going Paul. Rock and Roll

Paul Thorpe is a fantastic Elvis tribute act...There are many tributes out there however he is amazing. His costumes are authentic and his voice is stunning. As well as being a true professional Paul Thorpe is a lovely person and spends time with his audience during and after a performance, in my opinion a truly lovely gentleman.looking forward to the next show.

I’ve seen Paul a few times, hes amazing,I would recommend him to anyone who wants a very good Elvis tribute act.

Paul is the hardest working most dedicated Elvis Tribute artist out there, Paul truly brings the charisma , charm and stage presence to each and every show as Elvis would have with the voice and moves to match . He is professional but very friendly and gets the audience up and dancing and swaying along to his impressive repertoire of Elvis songs !
If you’re an Elvis fan old or new when Paul is in town his show is not to be missed .

What can I say. Paul is just the best. He’s puts so much effort into every single performance. Everyone gets involved and no time for sitting down as Paul has the knack of filling the dance floor very quickly. Plus ….. he actually looks like Elvis 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I have been booking Paul through my agency for quite a few years now and have had 100% positive feedback from every single client.

He is totally professional to deal with, communication is virtually instant every time, and he is also a thoroughly nice guy who is always a pleasure to speak with.

The closest thing to Elvis you will ever experience!

Not only is Paul one of the nicest guys, his likeness to Elvis both in appearance and sound is incredible. You will not be disappointed to be going to see him expecting an outstanding performance!

I have seen Paul a number of times at different venues, if you close your eyes you think you are listening to Elvis, Paul has the looks and the moves, definitely the voice, all round entertainer and one of the best Elvis tributes I've seen, need to plan my next visit, highly recommend

I have known paul for about 20yrs and worked with him in Gran Canaria when he used to do shows in the hotel I worked in, he was brilliant back then, and has got better throughout the years , his elvis show is 2nd to none , from the voice to the dance moves , he has elvis down to a fine art, as well as being friendly , paul is very professional in what he does , the sound system, lights , band and backing singers, if you are looking for a professional singer for any occasion, Paul comes highly recommended

Elvis by Candlelight
Went to see Paul for first time at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh.
It was a great show and I loved that he interacted with the audience. Great choice of songs and the band/backing singers were great too. He also posed for pictures at end of show which I thought was lovely.
Enjoyed it so much saw him again at event in Roslin and will see him again in January.

Paul is brilliant!
The ultimate show man and what a voice. Great to work with and the audience loved him too.

I first saw Paul at an event and thought he was fantastic I subsequently booked him for a private party and everyone was amazed how brilliant Paul was. He’ll leave you ‘all shook up’ and wanting more - the best entertainer I have seen for decades thanks Paul for making such a memorable one can’t recommend Paul enough - hope to book paul soon

So well performed and organised by all involved. Relaxing and high energy with laughs and good chat throughout. xcellent, thank you

We have had the pleasure of using Paul Thorpe as an Elvis tribute several times and he is always very popular and well attended. He is very professional and gives a great show. He is by far the best Elvis tribute we have experienced.

So what a show , Paul Thorpe Is the best elvis since the guy from USA . his show was filled with so much professionalism and quality , the whole nights experience , was superb , we will be booking him again very soon , fantastic !!

Definitely one of the best ETA’s , seen him loads of times from the early 2000’s to date. We had him for our wedding anniversary and he was brilliant. He’s an absolute gentleman and a really nice fellow. I would recommend him for your wedding’s, birthdays anniversary’s or catch one of his shows. You won’t be disappointed.

I've been an Elvis fan for over 50 years, since I was 12 years old. Paul Thorpe is the best tribute act that I have come across. He has a totally authentic Elvis sound, his costumes are fabulous and he puts on an amazing show.

He always takes time to chat to his audience, before and after his shows. He is totally professional and I hope he continues as an ETA for many years to come.

Had seen Paul doing his live feeds and really enjoyed them all. Lucky to see him live when friends booked him for there wedding anniversary in South Shields, brilliant night and great show.

A professional and conscientious supporter of the Elvis experience, Paul is a delight to work alongside and is always striving for an authentic production that the audience will love and appreciate. As a player, he is meticulously prepared and able to replicate what the fans love to experience in a journey back to Elvis in his prime!

Loved listening to elvis presley with my mum since i was a little girl,i first heard Paul doing elvis in our local pub and he is absolutely amazing, seen him a few times over the years and he never disappoints, one of the best impersonators i have heard x

Paul is an Excellent Entertainer, first class. Been to a few of his shows over the year. Became friends. Great singer and shows are great. 10 out of 10.

I cannot recommend Paul highly enough, Paul provided me with a Vegas style ‘little white wedding chapel’ wedding at Loch Vegas (Lomond) & all the evening entertainment in 2017. I sought his help again earlier this year for my hubby’s 50th birthday party & again he did not disappoint. We love Elvis and Paul Thorpe is the very best & a lovely guy into the bargain. I will definitely be securing his services again for our next big event.

Amazing talented best Elvis tribute act I have ever experienced. Great performer like Elvis reincarnated his voice is just like Elvis himself. Professional and a gentleman.

Paul made a surprise entrance at our wedding , kicking off the show singing the song for our first dance . The guests were blown away , he was brilliant and continued to raise the roof for the rest of the set . I won’t ever forget this part of our day and I can honestly say I shared my wedding day with my new husband and Elvis who upstaged the bride for all the right reasons and it was amazing . Paul is brilliant , the best .

Worked in Paul’s band on several occasions.
An absolute master of his craft, who only gets better with time. Effortlessly charismatic performer and I wouldn’t look anywhere else for an Elvis for any occasion. Just so good, excellent singer and a humorous, engaging frontman.

Paul was fabulous! Great fun, as well as hugely talented. A perfect Elvis who got rave reviews from everyone who was there. He really did make the night and I can’t wait to have another do so we can enjoy his performances again. Brilliant!

5 stars are not enough for Paul , not only is he one of the best ETA's around he is a true gent and always has time for the audience I have been to many of his shows after seeing him in Gran Canaria in 2004 and he never disappoints. Excellent.

5 stars for Paul Thorpe best Elvis entertainer I have ever seen. He is a very friendly and helpful guy, he is just a real gent. Do go to see him if he comes to your town. You will not be disappointed. I usually see him in Grangemouth and surrounding areas, decided to go to Peterhead prison Jailhouse Rock show. Then to Glasgow the Marriot hotel. husband enjoyed his 60th Birthday treat in our own home.

Fantastic act, best we have heard. 5* a must to go and see.
