The Blue Suns

The Blue Suns are a five piece band with male & female vocals performing a selection of classic and modern songs. What makes them truly special is the addition of a fiddle player to bring a unique folk and Irish twist to all their performances.

The Blue Suns have been performing together since 2007 during which time they have built up a huge repertoire to cater for every occasion having regularly played in ski resorts in France and Switzerland between tours of Germany and recently even Canada.

The Blue Suns 9

You get two male and two female vocals with this band, along with keys, guitar, bass, drums and of course the show stopping violin.

Their folk rock style featuring stunning vocal harmonies and electric violin playing enables them to put their own twist on everything from traditional Irish to classic modern pop.

One of the most in demand bands in the South of England, these guys (and gals) are not to be missed.

The Blue Suns are available for your entertainment across England including Kent

The Blue Suns

A wonderful evenings music. Niks fiddle playing is amazing

The Blue Suns

You made our day so special, especially the first song for the ceremony and our first dance

The Blue Suns

Several of our guests came and asked us where we found you. They were all enthralled by your music

The Blue Suns

It seems that the Quay Arts, Newport, is the place to discover new acts to follow and it was definitely the case on Monday,

The Blue Suns were first to perform. As there were six of them you could hear different influences appear: folk and pop/rock being at the forefront along with a Spanish flamenco/gypsy style from time to time. The Blue Suns' three part harmonies (sometimes even four!) along with the layered instrumentation meant that the dynamics that this band created were huge!

(I don’t say this often) The Blue Suns were honestly awe-inspiring

The Blue Suns

It being a celebration of my fathers life your music and professionalism was the perfect accompaniment

The Blue Suns

Your version of Over the Rainbow brought tears to my eyes
