Steve McKenna is a former BBC Senior Broadcast Journalist turned award-winning host, compere and speaker, bringing decades of experience in front of a microphone to weddings and corporate events across Scotland and the UK.

He's presented the Oscars feed to Scotland live from LA, hosted shows on Radio 1, BBC Radio 5 and the World Service, and spent 17 years as a drivetime favourite on Real Radio and Heart Scotland — so he knows exactly how to hold a room, read an audience, and keep the energy right where it needs to be. He's also DJ'd alongside names including George Bowie, Sasha and Calvin Harris, and played to festival crowds of up to 40,000 people.

If you're planning a corporate or charity event, Steve can take care of every aspect, from hosting, auctioneering, presenting or DJing. He's famous for presenting his Rock 'n' Roll bingo shows and also hosting quizzes. In short, he's Mr Versatility. In 2025 alone he performed in London, Dubai, Ibiza and Australia, finishing the year with a sold-out eight-night residency at Glasgow's Grosvenor West End, and in 2026 he's continued playing festivals and major events, as well as appearing in the Netflix Take That documentary.
