We got married at Rudding Park in May this year (2016) and Southwest Band were phenomenal – so glad we chose them. Right from the start when I called Henry, one of the band members, to discuss what I was after, he was helpful and friendly. I was always able to reach out to him or Lee (the band’s Agency/Director) with any questions I had. The band really made it an incredible night - one that we will remember forever. The set list was really varied, and the classics from various decades kept everyone on the floor dancing all night. The band are really energetic and three of the band members sing – they are seriously talented guys. There was dancing, a huge conga line, and crowd surfing (even in my wedding dress!). They also did an awesome reggae version of our first dance, which was a really cool surprise, and was very individual. Basically, the band are very reliable, super talented, and great for a wedding; I’d definitely recommend them. Thanks guys so much!

Hi Guys To say you were great would be an understatement. All the guests said It was the best wedding they had been to and I think this was largely down to you. I cannot believe how full the dance floor was. The song choices were perfect and sang brilliantly. I know quite a few of my friends took your cards so I hope to be able to see you all preform again soon.

Fab, amazing, pure talent, current tunes and some good oldies thrown in, good looking (sorry Matthew), I could go on and on. We booked South West for our wedding reception and what a result, a massive hit with our guests, a quality band who kept us all entertained and kept the dance floor full at all times. The amount of excellent feedback we have since received is testament to the band. They really made our wedding day complete.

We booked SouthWest via Hire A Band for our works summer party, which we do every year. This year was the most important one as it was our 10th birthday too, so the pressure was on to find a band who played their own instruments and had a set list that spanned our whole company taste. SouthWest arrived promptly, set up quickly and were ready to play when needed. They are amazing singers and musicians, verified by the fact that the dance floor was full for every song! They kept the vibe/party feel going throughout the whole night, even when they weren't on stage they were outside chatting with us. What a bunch of lovely guys. I had so many compliments for them throughout the night, everyone loved their songs, the mix ups and the medleys. Not your average run of the mill band, but a totally dedicated, professional and perfect performance. I would recommend them to anyone for any occasion. Thanks to Lee from Hire A Band too for making it such a simple and stressless job. We will definitely be repeat customers!

The band Southwest were superb and really helped to make it a special and very enjoyable night. Everyone was dancing and I received loads of really positive feedback on the performance. I would certainly recommend them to anyone. Hireaband were great to work with and organised and managed my event really well, they were polite, efficient and easy to talk to. I thought the band were excellent. The three guys who sang - could all sing! Fabulous. There was a great range of songs which served the audience well. And all four guys were really personable. Feedback the next day from people was that they had really enjoyed it - absolutely no complaints whatsoever. I would definitely recommend them.

With very positive feedback from over 6000 people, you guys played to just under 13,000 people on the night. Amazing band, excellent vocals and music, fantastic show to get all involved. Above all professional. We will be using these guys again, as we have done in the past, for future events.

An excellent experience, both with the Hire-a-band service and the Southwest performance. We were initially apprehensive about our band choice for our wedding in June 14 and also using an agent. We really felt that the use of Hire-a-band was the right decision, having now completed the wedding. The initial advice and direct mobile contact is perfect, it is really important that there is an answer when you call as with wedding prep there are always so many things on your mind. Lee was superb and I knew if I rang there would be someone there. Lee spent a lot of time on an initial call, without any booking, advising on pro's and con's, without obligation and again this was really valued as a customer and helped put my mind at ease. The band choice was perfect for us. Southwest were exactly as described, with music genre and attitude. Very professional. For our wedding it was important to create a real party atmosphere for the evening as we had gone for no children and a marquee at the brides family home. If we could have afforded Mumford and Sons then we would have gone for that but it is no joke that Southwest were every bit as good. In fact, the personalised slowed down rendition of 'I will wait' that they learnt for the first dance we thought was better than the original! The advice of an early setup was just what we needed and work perfect on the day and it was a great idea of Lee to go for an afternoon session to make the most of the increased early setup, for what we thought was a fair additional cost, discounted slightly for going with an all-day option. The way in which hire-a-band works just seems great. Overall a great service - Lee should be commended for his positive and helpful attitude.

Thank you so much for playing at our Wedding Reception on 5th May, we had a fantastic time, the music was awesome and you guys were so cool. We had so many compliments on how good you were and how people were enjoying themselves. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you and would definitely have you back for another event.
