In 2011, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade in an 1995 Volvo 440 1.9 SE (see pictures). Today, still wanted by the government they survive as entertainers of fortune. If you have an event or wedding and if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you should hire SLAM DUNK FUNK!
They have been seen playing at many festivals, corporate events and weddings slam entertaining the crowd with the likes of Michael Jackson to Will Smith to 2 Unlimited to Dirty Dancing.
Their live set is a full on energetic show (don't be surprised to see the band do 'that lift' from Dirty Dancing and get the crowd involved) so make sure you all have ya funk on . Playing in their basketball vests or something smarter (you choose) you will get 2 x 60 minute of live sets with a DJ playlist service in between sets.
If the 90's are your thing and you remember Spice Girls, Ab Fab, Mario Cart, Groundhog Day, the Sony Walkman then you will love Slam Dunk Funk.

Well what can we say, the funk made our Wedding/Halloween celebration the best party we could have hoped for. The lads got really into the spirit of the night and funked the hell out of us. Our new favourite band by a long shot. Long live the mighty Slam Dunk Funk, you made our party extraordinary and memorable for all the right reasons. Big love to the funk!
Rugby Music Festival featured 17 acts and Slam Dunk Funk were one of the stand outs. Great sound and performance from the guys; they had the crowd with them all the way. They were the first band we invited back from last year and they headlined! We love it that they're a band that don't take themselves too seriously yet still produce some series funk!

Slam Dunk Funk have never failed to amaze us. Each show we've booked has been better than the last with the band pulling out all the stops. The upbeat mood created by the bands unique take on well known songs is great for everyone (as well as the bar take!). If we could book them every weekend, we certainly would!
