Rich Gordon - Bagpipes

Rich was absolutely brilliant. From the bagpipes at our ceremony, to the sax for our wedding meal - we were absolutely blown away with how good he was! We especially loved the sax playing for our wedding meal entrance - it was so much fun!

I would like to say a huge thank you to Rich Gordon who was our Piper at Earls Hall Castle. He played AMAZING! We had many International people at our wedding who were visiting Scotland for the first time and being at this venue with the Bag Pipes made some people cry. It was a very special day for us and Rich played a big part in this.

Rich was fantastic, an absolute pleasure to have him as the piper for our wedding day. He even learnt a song for us to pipe me down the aisle, which was incredibly special. Thank you so much, Rich.

Rich Gordon was fantastic, from his piping before and after the service to playing sax and guitar throughout the wedding breakfast, he was fantastic, read the room brilliantly for the music choices, played all the bride and groom’s favourites, a truly amazing artist. Cannot recommend him enough as he totally made our day.

Rich was the perfect combo for us - being able to switch between the sax and the bagpipes was exactly the blend we were looking for. Handling the the booking through Hireaband really made it easy, especially as an overseas couple coming to Scotland the week of the wedding. Rich also offered to learn any songs we needed, but had a really wide setlist already - plenty of our favorites to choose from!

Rich was unbelievable, he made the day! Between playing the bagpipes, saxophone guitar and singing during our meal, we couldn’t have asked for more!!

We recently had Rich Gordon at our wedding, playing the bagpipes for our ceremony and onto play the sax for our drinks reception.
Rich also played the sax at my hen party in May and we cannot fault him on any occasions. Rich came on both occasions, happy and friendly putting us at ease on our wedding day. He came dressed appropriately for the occasion.
Our music preferences were taken into consideration and he brought the vibes we were looking for- everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves.

Rich was excellent at our wedding service on 18th July at Achnagairn Castle. Many of our guests commented on how amazing he is both playing the pipes and on the saxophone. It was so special to be able to choose certain music for key parts of our day. His transition between both instruments was seamless, so much so that some guests thought we had a separate pipes and sax player! We would highly recommend Rich to anyone looking for outstanding pipes or saxophone for an event. We cannot thank Rich enough!

Rich Gordon was our piper for the event, he was on time, courteous and relaxed having both performed at the venue previously and worked with both the Celebrant and Photographer on previous occasions.
This allowed Jenny and Rod ( the happy couple) to relax and enjoy the occasion.

Rich played at our wedding on 20th September and both Andrea and I were over the moon with the service that he provided. Rich is an excellent Piper, but not only that he's very well organised. He sent us our booking form well in advance to make sure we both knew exactly what we wanted him to do on the day, and on the day he was there within plenty of time. He knows exactly what to do and just got on with what he does best. He is very professional and this really comes through in the way that he operates his business. It really was 'the icing on the cake' and added something extra special for our wedding day. Thanks Rich, we will certainly be recommending you to our network.

Rich Gordon was the piper at our wedding celebrations. He performed with grace and style from start to finish, his pre-event communication, commitment, and timing were all great and he looked the part too. Unusually we had a Handfasting Ceremony at the centre of our occasion - it was a first for all of us including Rich but his contribution was excellent, and his enthusiasm genuine, contributing strongly to the atmosphere and success of the event. Rich performed at my daughter's wedding on 11th October. Can I just say that he was not only an ultimate professional throughout, but his timing and choice of songs was amazing and very apt for the occasion. Rich is now not only the piper we hired for the wedding, but we now see him as a friend who joined us to celebrate the wedding of my daughter and now son-in-law and I would have no reservation in recommending his services x Thank you so much xx

Where to start.... Rich played for my wedding on the 9th of august. He was amazing. He remembered that I love Highland Cathedral and started playing it the minute the car door opened. He was polite and made me feel totally at ease the whole day. He even posed for pictures and mingled with my guests. He is such a nice person. Thank you so much.
