Mariachi & Latin Bands in Wales

Mariachi and Latin bands across Wales

Wales covers a lot of ground, from Mumbles, Penarth and Llandudno. Our mariachi and Latin bands travel right across the region, so wherever your wedding or event is, you'll find acts on this page who already know the venues, the roads and the local crowds. They're booked for weddings, fiestas and themed parties.

Our listings for Wales take in Cardiff, North Wales and Swansea. Each of those areas has its own page too, which you'll find in the links further down, but the acts here will travel to any of them.

Popular venues across the region include Brangwyn Hall, National Museum Cardiff, Bodnant Welsh Food Centre, King Arthur Hotel, De Courceys Manor and Chateau Rhianfa. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we can usually say which acts have played there before.

The category covers mariachi groups, salsa bands and Latin party acts. Their pages show exactly what each one plays, so you can match the act to your guests and your venue.

Since 1999, Hireaband has matched acts with clients right across the country. The mariachi and Latin bands here all cover Wales and include PA, lighting and travel in the price. The instant quote button shows pricing and availability for your date in seconds.

What to know:

  • Budget £500 to £2,500 for most bookings
  • Every quote includes PA, lighting and travel
  • Travel within Wales is never added on later
  • Many acts offer longer or extra sets if you need them
  • Every booking is covered by a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Some venues have sound limiters, early finishes or restrictions on where acts can set up. Check these early, as they can decide which line-up is the better fit for your wedding or event.

Most bookings fall between £500 and £2,500. The size of the line-up is the biggest factor, followed by the date and how long the act plays. PA, lighting and travel are included in the quote, so the figure you're given is the figure you pay, wherever you are in Wales.

Rather than a generic demo, every act's page shows the actual line-up you'd be booking, with videos, audio and a song list. Underneath are reviews from clients, often at venues you'll recognise.

Use the instant quote button on this page to see prices and availability for your date. Once you've chosen an act, we handle the contract, the deposit and the arrangements, and stay in touch through to the day. Every booking includes a 14-day change-of-mind refund, and an emergency contact line is available on the day if anything needs sorting quickly.

FAQs

The category covers traditional mariachi groups, salsa and Cuban bands, Brazilian samba and bossa nova acts, Latin jazz ensembles and Latin party bands that also play chart hits. Each act's page shows its style, line-up and song list.

Yes, that's what mariachi does best. Most mariachi groups play acoustically, so they can move between tables or around a garden during a drinks reception, a meal or a fun day. Check the act's page or ask us when you enquire.

Most do. Mariachi groups usually perform in charro suits and sombreros, and many salsa and Latin party bands have their own stage outfits. The photos and videos on each act's page show exactly what to expect.

Most do. Stage and dance bands bring their own PA; acoustic and strolling acts may need nothing at all. Larger line-ups need floor space and power nearby, so it's worth checking both with your venue, along with any sound limiter.

From around £500 for a smaller act to £2,500 or more for a larger band. The number of musicians, the date and the length of the booking make the biggest difference, and travel is always included in the quote.

Yes. Many couples book a mariachi group or a bossa nova trio for the drinks reception, then a salsa or Latin party band for the evening. Some acts can cover both, and we can suggest combinations when you enquire.

“A great service from the Hireaband office who communicated my requests to the band. Los Gigantes were fantastic at my wedding, they were a fabulous surprise for my guests(and husband) and were perfect to get the party started.
