Mariachi & Latin Bands in the East Midlands

Book mariachi and Latin bands anywhere in the East Midlands

The East Midlands covers a lot of ground, from Kettering, Newark, Lincoln, Chesterfield and Leicester. Our mariachi and Latin bands travel right across the region, so wherever your wedding or event is, you'll find acts on this page who already know the venues, the roads and the local crowds. They're booked for weddings, fiestas and themed parties.

Our listings for the East Midlands take in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire. Each of those areas has its own page too, which you'll find in the links further down, but the acts here will travel to any of them.

Popular venues across the region include Kelmarsh Hall & Gardens, Oddhouse Farm, The Bardney Hall, Osmaston Park, Winstanley House and Delapre Abbey. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we can usually say which acts have played there before.

The category covers mariachi groups, salsa bands and Latin party acts. Their pages show exactly what each one plays, so you can match the act to your guests and your venue.

Hireaband has been booking live entertainment since 1999. Every band listed here covers the East Midlands, and PA, lighting and travel are included in the quote you receive. Use the instant quote button on this page to check prices and availability for your date.

What to know:

  • Budget £500 to £2,500 for most bookings
  • Every quote includes PA, lighting and travel
  • Travel within the East Midlands is never added on later
  • Many acts offer longer or extra sets if you need them
  • Every booking is covered by a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Start with the space and the guest numbers. A smaller line-up suits an intimate room or a venue with a sound limiter, while a larger act fills a ballroom or marquee. Tell us the venue and numbers and we'll suggest what tends to work.

Smaller line-ups typically start from around £500, while bigger acts can reach £2,500 or more. Summer Saturdays and December are the busiest dates. The price in your quote includes PA, lighting and travel, so it won't change once you've booked.

Every act's page has video and audio of the performers who would actually play at your wedding or event, a full song list and written reviews from people who have booked them. It's the easiest way to judge the style before you commit.

Use the instant quote button on this page to see prices and availability for your date. Once you've chosen an act, we handle the contract, the deposit and the arrangements, and stay in touch through to the day. Every booking includes a 14-day change-of-mind refund, and an emergency contact line is available on the day if anything needs sorting quickly.

FAQs

The category covers traditional mariachi groups, salsa and Cuban bands, Brazilian samba and bossa nova acts, Latin jazz ensembles and Latin party bands that also play chart hits. Each act's page shows its style, line-up and song list.

Yes, that's what mariachi does best. Most mariachi groups play acoustically, so they can move between tables or around a garden during a drinks reception, a meal or a fun day. Check the act's page or ask us when you enquire.

Most do. Mariachi groups usually perform in charro suits and sombreros, and many salsa and Latin party bands have their own stage outfits. The photos and videos on each act's page show exactly what to expect.

Most do. Stage and dance bands bring their own PA; acoustic and strolling acts may need nothing at all. Larger line-ups need floor space and power nearby, so it's worth checking both with your venue, along with any sound limiter.

From around £500 for a smaller act to £2,500 or more for a larger band. The number of musicians, the date and the length of the booking make the biggest difference, and travel is always included in the quote.

Yes. Many couples book a mariachi group or a bossa nova trio for the drinks reception, then a salsa or Latin party band for the evening. Some acts can cover both, and we can suggest combinations when you enquire.
