Izzie And The Balderdash Boys

The band were absolutely brilliant. They were as good if not better than their promotional videos. We have been overwhelmed with positive feedback from our guests. We were so pleased at the flexibility of the band who were keen to make sure that we had a great evening. They were enjoyed so much that I know at least two of our guests are contemplating hiring them for their own special occasions. Thank you so much, you help make our day so memorable.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you and your band immensely for playing at our wedding. We are sorry we ended up being quite late running which had you waiting for things to get going, but the wait was worth it. Everyone was bowled over with your music and the quality.
It was a small intimate event, so may not have been as a packed house that you are used to, nonetheless it was very special. So thank you for travelling such a distance to make the day for the two of us. I wish you well in your future events and will be sure to recommend.

Hireaband provided a reliable and efficient service responding to my queries really quickly and helping to make arrangements for our wedding reception. The website was easy to use helping us to make an excellent choice. Kind Ears were fantastic. Really flexible, good fun and above all, great musicians. Guests all complimented the quality of the band and their unique style. They were described as a 'class act' and the dancefloor was full all night. Izzie and the Balderdash Boys were simply perfect. We got married in Barcelona so there was an added element of logistics needed, but at no point were they any hassle for us.

As for their performance, we couldn’t ask for more. They played all the songs we loved and the dance floor was always full.

Our guests all commented how terrific Kind Ears were and loved their unique style. We really appreciated the distance they travelled from Manchester to Devon to be with us on our wedding day. Their style really suited our tipi, boho wedding. They learnt our first dance by City and Colour (Canadian Band) - The girl and this was extremely special.

We asked Izzie to perform for our wedding in May and were absolutely delighted with the band and their performance! Izzie is a lovely person with a great voice, and was professional and reliable in the planning stages. The band is very talented and our wedding dance floor was busy throughout their 2-hour set, which, as we were told, is very rare for a wedding! They were happy to learn and play new songs for us which weren't on their set list, which made the evening even more special.

I was very lucky to have Izzie & her wonderful band mates play for my 40th birthday party. Having seen them perform a couple of times on the local gig circuit I knew they were just what I was looking for and they did not disappoint. The bands traditional folk/blues instruments perfectly compliment Izzies voice and together they make a great sound

Kind Ears are a pleasure to work with; professional and extremely talented. Shortly after having them play I made them our house band to play weekly and they delivered an incredible live music set every week which the crowd loved!

Izzie & her band played for us in the afternoon of our wedding during our drinks
reception and they were fantastic! All of our guests commented how amazing they
were live and their unique sound set the afternoon off perfectly. Izzie was really
helpful before the wedding and offered to play all of our favourite songs. They were

The most absolutely amazing set of musicians here today, different, unique and
definitely quirky, we love them!! absolutely perfect for ceremony and drinks with a
bigger band for the evening, they're happy to play acoustic too..hope to be seeing
them here lots this year!

Great Music and Great Vibe! Played a mixture of modern pop music and Irish
classics (as requested) in their own unique way, guests loved them. Definitely would

Wonderfully talented band who even managed to accommodate my request of some
Pink Floyd! Set a great feel for the event and had everyone dancing. Izzie has a
superb voice!!
