Overview
Jonny D brings a smooth, captivating saxophone sound to weddings, private events and corporate functions, with a set list that runs to hundreds of songs across romantic ballads, acoustic covers and dancefloor anthems. Whether it's providing a gentle soundtrack as guests walk down the aisle, adding atmosphere over cocktails, or building energy on the dance floor later in the evening, Jonny adapts his playing to suit the moment.
His repertoire spans everything from classic soul and Motown to the biggest current pop hits, alongside a dedicated party set of high-energy anthems for those wanting to turn the volume up. As well as being a genuinely talented player, Jonny is one of the warmest, easiest people to work with on the Hireaband roster — the kind of act who puts nervous couples and hosts at ease from the first phone call.
Jonny D provides his own PA system, is fully insured, and is experienced working with venue sound limiters. Performance options include a one-hour ceremony, a two-hour daytime drinks reception, two 45-minute sets, a one-hour Ibiza-style party set, a two-hour dinner set, or a high-energy "Power Hour," with early arrival and a late finish after midnight both available on request. Hi Gaye, thanks.again for your help in making last Saturday a brilliant evening. I wanted to leave a review for Jonny so I was hoping you could put it on the website.
We hired Jonny for a joint 30th/ Engagement party and he added so much to the evening. We wanted a playlist to get the evening started and Jonny was brilliant including all our requests into the playlist. He was highly professional, a great entertainer and a joy to work with.
Jonny was great, he took requests and played so well, highly recommend.
Thanks for a fabulous performance at our awards dinner Jonny. You got the whole evening off to a great start. A hard act to follow. So you next year I hope.
