These guys are just amazingly talented musicians and really nice guys to speak to. They certainly know their stuff. We saw them a couple of years ago and instantly they were THE band to book for our wedding, which was last Friday. Jimmy & The Hound Dogs are a real gem of a band and very professional in their work and booking process. If you want a full dance floor and a great evening of live music and I cannot recommend them enough!!! Thanks guys for making our evening reception the icing on the cake !!!
Hi guys! Just wanted to say a massive, massive thank you for the set you did at our Wedding on Thursday night. You absolutely smashed it. Our friends were raving about the music the following day. General consensus was 'best wedding band they've ever heard'. Hopefully we can catch you at a local gig again soon!
My husband and I booked Jimmy & The Hound Dogs for our wedding. The band were brilliant and kept us and our guests on the dance floor throughout their two sets. They were also really friendly and professional, both leading up to, and on the day itself. Would definitely recommend!
You played for us at the evening of our wedding on 7th July 2018 at Pendrell Hall. All I can say you were all brilliant! We knew you were fab from seeing you at a gig at a club but you were even better than we remembered on our wedding day. All of the guests couldn’t stop telling us how brilliant you were. You really got everyone up on the dance floor and the music was perfect for us. I would recommend you guys 100 times over. I also have to say you are a lovely bunch of guys too. The Hound Dogs played at my wedding reception in April 2014 at Somerford Hall in Brewood. After hearing them play and seeing the reaction of the audience we knew they were the band that we wanted at our wedding and it proved to be the right decision. They surpassed our expectations. Everyone was up dancing all night, even me! All the guests commented on how good they were and a number of them have since booked the band for other events. We wanted to have a wedding reception that no one would forget and a fun evening. They gave my wife and I a wedding reception that people are still talking about and everyone thoroughly enjoyed. I would recommend this band to everyone. They will not disappoint. In fact, they will surpass your expectations. Thanks again lads for making my wedding unforgettable.
As a wedding photographer I never share recommendations of other suppliers with my couples unless I’ve had personal experience of their work, and having seen these guys recently I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to any brides and grooms to be looking for a band for their wedding. Especially if you’re looking for something with a vintage twist and are steering away from anything cheesy. They create a really fun atmosphere whilst also remaining professional. They're simply a group of very talented musicians with a real passion for what they do wanting to offer something a bit different to anything else out there.
