Jessica Burton is a virtuoso Scottish harpist with a contemporary vibe.
Jessica is based in Scotland and is available to play for weddings, functions and concerts helping to create the perfect atmosphere for any event. She was trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland under the tuition of Wendy Stewart, Corrina Hewat and Hannah Phillips. She plays a Starfish Mamore, a 37 string clarsach that is portable enough for any location.
In 2011 she received the Clan Currie award for Clarsach, and is the 2012 winner of the Orkney Folk Festival Open Stage.
Previous engagements include Edinburgh Castle, Glasgow City Chambers, Bothwell Castle Golf Club, St Magnus Cathedral and Ross Priory. She has performed for the likes of HRH the Prince of Wales, the Lord Provost of Glasgow, and The Old Firm.
Jessica can provide music for the guests' arrival, the Bride's entrance, the signing of the register, the Bride and Groom's exit and the guests' departure. She can also provide background music for the drinks reception, or during the wedding breakfast.
Jessica can also provide a clarsach and violin duo, perfect for larger venues.

Hi Jessica, We had to thank you for playing at our wedding at Huntingtower Castle. The atmosphere you created was magical and it was lovely to be able to hear you play no matter where we were in the castle and its grounds.
