Where do we even begin? Jimmy was absolutely amazing from the first message, so responsive and it really felt like he wanted to be part of the planning process. We had an unusual request for our first dance (a mix of How Deep is Your Love x Come and Get Your Love) which are two songs that don’t really go together but Jimmy worked his magic and sent us a sample that we could use to practice with our choreography and it was so much fun to do on the night! Liam was also amazing and was able to play another mashup idea that I had and made me feel completely at ease on the morning of when I was worried about timings! Jimmy and the band were absolutely incredible and the dancefloor was full all evening, even accommodating all of our Taylor Swift requests. The guys were lovely to chat to in between sets and just felt like they were a part of the wedding. We wish we could get married all over again just to have them back! Thank you so much!

The band were fantastic! Simply put, incredible — they brought fun, passion, and a great understanding of how to get our guests dancing. Communication was excellent, but the day itself surpassed all expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better band — book them without hesitation! Above and beyond is what you get from Eccentric Pony! The dance floor was packed all night when they were playing and when Jimmy took our very very long playlist and turned it into something that had people on their feet singing and dancing in-between sets. Our day fell pretty behind schedule and they handled it perfectly switching from 3 shorter sets to 2 longer ones with no fuss. As a wedding present I asked if they could learn one of my husband's original songs. Jimmy was brilliant taking an acoustic version and turning it into a pop punk bop! On the night it was perfect and they let Alistair jump up and sing it with them. Not only that but a few days after the wedding we got an email with a full band recording for us to keep! We could not recommend them enough.

All of our guests have been telling us how amazing the band was and how much they enjoyed them. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a high energy, professional band. I can’t even begin to express how incredible this band was at our wedding. From the very first song to the final encore, they were truly amazing to watch. They weren’t just playing music; they were engaging the entire room, dancing with guests, getting people involved, and creating an atmosphere that felt completely electric. Their talent is unreal. Every song was spot-on, vocals were flawless, and the energy never dropped. Hands down, they were the highlight of the entire day. We’ve had so many guests tell us they were the best wedding band they’ve ever seen — and we couldn’t agree more. If you’re even thinking about booking them, do it. You will not regret it!

Eccentric pony were quite simply amazing. Jimmy was brilliant in accommodating all of our song preferences and produced an amazing mix for our first dance. The band arrived on time and looked very professional when setting up. They were all incredibly friendly with us and the guests.

Their performance was great with every song expertly performed. They also had some really nice touches involving the audience which really set them apart from other bands. Every guest was asking for their name and where we found them. Would highly recommend them.

Thanks for your message and sorry for not getting in touch sooner - we had been waiting on pictures from the photographer etc before writing reviews and thanking suppliers. Unfortunately, he did not get much of the dancing and band since he finished at 10pm but I have sent what he did manage to capture of you guys. I have shared these using OneDrive.

We had an amazing evening and you guys were fantastic! Georgia and I always said that a band makes a wedding, and you guys really delivered! We were initially nervous with an empty dancefloor at the start of your set, but that is to be expected before the "Dutch courage" kicks in - but that wasn't needed as you guys did an amazing job at rallying the crowd and played some belters to keep the dancefloor busy the whole night! We especially appreciated you taking requests from the guests and got some really positive feedback from them afterwards about you all.

A few highlights included The Killers - Mr. Brightside which we reminisced with grins on our faces whilst on our honeymoon at a dive bar in Las Vegas where pictures of the band adorned the walls and the song came over the speakers; James - Sit Down which really for the guests involved; and finishing with Neil Diamond - one of my all-time favourites!

You were brilliant too in the build up - with great communication and going above and beyond to make the process as stress free as possible.

Eccentric Pony were absolutely awesome. I only gave them a basic brief on the music I liked but asked them to gauge the audience. They absolutely got it spot on. True entertainers and true gents from the moment I booked Jimmy kept in touch and put my mind at rest. They were fun and modern. A modern twist on traditional songs and playing modern too. Eccentric Pony were absolutely amazing, performing at our wedding reception. They provided so much energy and made sure the dance floor was filled the entire time! Their repertoire is really varied and played songs we requested, as well as classic singalongs to end the night. The guys were really friendly and helpful during the wedding planning, keeping us reassured and taking away any hassle and minimising any wedding nerves. They were the perfect wedding band for us and we would hire again in an instant for any future event - definitely recommend!

Hello, Jimmy I just wanted to say a huge T H A N K Y O U to you and the band for your performance at my birthday bash at the weekend, you were absolutely brilliant. You got the party started and kept everybody on their feet all night, fantastic set choice and you
matched my preferences perfectly – I don’t recall any tracks that didn’t have me tapping my toes. I am especially touched by the memory of your rendition of a song played personally for me [the Palaye Royale track], which you and the band learnt specifically for my party – absolutely incredible. You should see the smile I have at this moment remembering it. There aren’t enough superlatives to properly express how grateful I am,
a party needs people but people need good bouncy music to feel good and you provided the perfect soundtrack for a feel good night. The music soundtrack you selected between your sets and whilst setting up was perfect too, the party never missed a beat! You are all clearly talented musicians who know your
instruments very well, as evidenced by learning the new track for me, and I would ask you to pass on my thanks to Mickey and Neil (just simply brilliant) and the irrepressible Stuart banging away on his D-Drum Dios Bubinga snare drum – he was a joy to meet! Thank you, I hope I get to see you again.

We booked Eccentric Pony to perform at our wedding reception in September. They were absolutely astounding, and we are already trying to think of another reason for a party so we can book them again! Initially, we booked Eccentric Pony to play two 45 minute sets, but then decided to ask them to supply the 'DJ' music too. Jimmy could not have been more helpful, and completely put our mind at rest that they would be sure to do all they could to help make our day special. And that is just what they did! The music was better than we dared to hope for, and they really got EVERYONE up on the dance floor, (even my 81 year old uncle!!). My wife and I can't recommend them highly enough, they were punctual, professional and went the extra mile to ensure we had the day we'd hoped for. We can't thank you enough.

Having seen Eccentric Pony playing live at a gig, we booked them to entertain the guests at my daughter's wedding. They played in the church during the signing of the register, and afterwards at the wedding reception.
They were very professional, tailoring their performance to suit our requirements with specific requests, and many of the guests commented on how impressed they were. They were certainly a high spot during the celebrations! I would have no hesitation in recommending Eccentric Pony to anyone - so much so that I have booked them again, to play at my birthday party!
