Overview
Eadaoin is an multi-award-winning instrumentalist and composer from County Mayo, Ireland, now living in Glasgow and available for hire across Scotland.
Eadaoin has received many accolades throughout the years including the 2022 Arts Council Ireland Next Generation Artists Award, multiple All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil titles, The Camac Trophy Award at Lorient Interceltique Festival, Milwaukee Irish Festival and Irish World Academy Partnership Award, Mayo Young Person Of The Year Award and is a two-time Oireachtas na Gaeilge champion.
She is currently the violinist with the world renowned show by Michael Flatley ‘Lord of the Dance’. Éadaoin has collaborated with internationally renowned artists across a diverse array of genres and performed on world renowned stages such as Croke Park, the Aviva Stadium, Broadway, RDS, National Concert Hall and The Barbican Theatre in London to name but a few. Her music has taken her to China, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, mainland Europe, Canada, North America and frequently to Áras an Uachtaráin to perform at the invitation of Ireland's President Michael D Higgins.
With this experience and mastery of her instruments, any event is in incredibly safe hands with Eadaoin's outstanding musicianship.
Eadaoin can perform during a wedding ceremony, drinks reception and wedding meal as well as at private and corporate events, playing either solo harp, fiddle or alongside a pianist. Although Eadaoin's music sets the perfect background ambience to any event - guests will stop in their tracks to listen to her beautiful arrangements.
Please note, the fees quoted by our website are based on Eadaoin performing a 2hr set at a daytime drinks reception on either harp or fiddle. We were so fortunate to have Eadaoin perform for us on our wedding day. Her professionalism, attention to detail and sheer talent was second to none. All of the guests were so impressed with the music and everything went seamlessly on the day. We would highly recommend.
We had the absolute privilege of having Éadaoin play the harp and the fiddle for our wedding ceremony. Not only is she immensely talented, she was so accommodating and such a pleasure to deal with. She provided us with an extensive list of music suggestions and was so helpful throughout the process. We got so many compliments afterwards and we both thoroughly enjoyed the music ourselves- it was absolutely fantastic. It was certainly one of the highlights of our day and we really couldn't recommend her highly enough!
Éadaoin played traditional Irish harp at the drink’s reception of our wedding. She was absolutely superb. She created a really vibrant atmosphere. Eadaoin is a gifted musician and we felt so privileged to have her performing live, on our special day. She was amazing to communicate during the booking process and very accommodating throughout.
My husband and I asked Éadaoin to play at our church wedding ceremony and also at our reception. She was such a pleasure to work with in the run up to the big day. She was so easygoing and accommodating with our requests. Éadaoin even accompanied my husband's mother while singing, which was such a special moment for us. Everything was seamless and professional, and she is a very gifted musician. We had so many compliments from our guests. As a harpist myself it was just perfect, and so nice to hear all my favourite pieces played so beautifully. We also absolutely loved the lively trad music she provided at our drinks reception along with a very talented flautist Martha. The atmosphere was fantastic. We were delighted with everything.
Éadaoin played both the harp and fiddle at our ceremony and drink's reception of our wedding. She was a pleasure to deal with from the start.
