Black and Gold are a 6 piece funk and disco party band from The Midlands, and they are on a mission; a mission to make you shake your thang!
Specialising in funk, disco and party classics from artists such as Prince, James Brown, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye – basically if you wanna get up offa that thing and dance 'till you feel better. you've found the perfect band!

The band consists of 1 female vocals, drums/vocals, guitar, bass, sax and trumpet.
Black and Gold are the ultimate funk and disco party band, they will play 2 x 60 minute live sets and come with full PA, lighting, and a set that will make you want to shimmy your booty all night long. The band are fully insured and all equipment is PAT tested. Music is offered between live sets from their ipod or if you have your own playlist, plug it in!

These guys and girls are very special indeed. We hired them for a black tie dinner event (July 2017) for approximately 90 people and they brought an element of class with them, which we required for our party. The variety of instruments gives a unique approach to this band and they kept us dancing all night long.
Could you also thank the band again for me for rehearsing the Adele song for me to sing? I've never sung it with a band before and it will be something I will remember for a very long time.

Black and Gold really made our day so special. We were running late on the day but they waited and set up around all that was going on quickly and professionally. They arranged a special song (not on their playlist) for a first dance and also made my Mother's Day with a Trex track. From start to finish they were very welcoming and engaging. They were really happy to work to our needs and they made the evening of our wedding. I cannot recommend the band enough and would hire them again should there be an occasion to do so. Thank you for making our wedding so perfect.
I found Luke and the band to all be very professional, musically tight and a lot of fun to watch and dance with. The front girls were brilliant and bounced off of each other brilliantly. The brass section was on point, as was the rest of the band. Their set list covered a really good range of tracks from classic to current, and they have the dance floor full from their first song, right through to their last. They supported the events team and entertainers to ensure seamless flow of the evenings agenda, and the DJ iPod sets were great, again the dance floor was full until 1am. Huge thank you to all the members who made our evening a huge party success. Would 100% recommend.
Fantastic band - great entertainers and really made the night. Made the organisation of the night easy as well as they were very willing to accommodate our needs. Would definitely recommend and would use again.
