60s Tribute Acts & Bands in the West Midlands

Find 60s tribute acts for your party in the West Midlands

From Ross-on-Wye, Sutton Coldfield, Stafford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Worcester and Shrewsbury, the West Midlands has a huge choice of venues and a busy calendar of 60s nights, birthdays and themed parties. The 60s tribute acts on this page cover the whole region, and many play several dates a month within it.

This region page covers Birmingham, Coventry, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. If you already know which area your venue is in, the links below take you to the page for that area, with venues and acts picked for it.

Popular venues across the region include Homme House, Fazeley Studios, Thorpe Gardens, Warwick Castle, Stanbrook Abbey Hotel and Park House Hotel. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we can usually say which acts have played there before.

The category covers solo tributes and full bands recreating the biggest names and hits of the 60s. Their pages show exactly what each one plays, so you can match the act to your guests and your venue.

Hireaband has been booking live entertainment since 1999. Every act listed here covers the West Midlands, and PA, lighting and travel are included in the quote you receive. Use the instant quote button on this page to check prices and availability for your date.

What to know:

  • Budget £500 to £2,000 for most bookings
  • Every quote includes PA, lighting and travel
  • Travel within the West Midlands is never added on later
  • Many acts offer longer or extra sets if you need them
  • Every booking is covered by a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Start with the space and the guest numbers. A smaller line-up suits an intimate room or a venue with a sound limiter, while a larger act fills a ballroom or marquee. Tell us the venue and numbers and we'll suggest what tends to work.

Smaller line-ups typically start from around £500, while bigger acts can reach £2,000 or more. Summer Saturdays and December are the busiest dates. The price in your quote includes PA, lighting and travel, so it won't change once you've booked.

Rather than a generic demo, every act's page shows the actual line-up you'd be booking, with videos, audio and a song list. Underneath are reviews from clients, often at venues you'll recognise.

The instant quote button gives you a price and availability for your date straight away. From there, we manage the contract and deposit and keep you updated until the event. Every booking is covered by a 14-day change-of-mind refund, and there's an emergency contact line on the day in case anything needs sorting.

FAQs

Everything from Beatles and Four Seasons tributes to Motown and soul shows and all-round 60s party bands playing the decade's biggest hits.

Yes — the songs of the 60s are known across generations, which is why a 60s act is a popular pick for milestone birthdays and anniversaries.

Yes — a marquee or a large room at home is a common setting, and a solo tribute in particular needs very little space. The same act can just as easily play a hotel function room or a social club the next weekend.

Usually, yes. Solo and duo tributes need only a small performance area and a standard power supply; for a full band, tell us the room and we'll check the line-up fits comfortably.

Typically £500 to £2,000, depending mainly on whether it's a solo tribute or a full live band, and on the date. Your quote shows exactly what's included.

Most parties book several months ahead, sooner for a summer Saturday or a December date, when the most popular tributes go quickly.

“Chloe and the guys were absolutely superb and it took my dad and his friends back to the 1950’s and the rock n roll they grew up with. What made it really good for them was seeing it being performed by a young enthusiastic band, just as it was when the were young, its not every night you see 80 year olds jiving...”

“Hi Nicola, I just wanted to give you some feedback from our party on the 12th with Just John and Paul. The boys were amazing everyone loved them. They arrived early and were professional in their approach and appearance I cannot say how much they made the night go with the great success that it was. Once again many thanks.”

“I would just like to write and say a huge thank you to The Essential Jersey Boys for their performance on Friday night at our black tie Wintertime Ball. They were very professional, sounded amazing and it was a pleasure to have them around. They were easy to talk to, asked for nothing but gave a lot. The band were just like having Frankie Valli and the 4 seasons here, great sound, everyone dancing and all our guests had nothing but positive comments. Great band, great bunch of lads. Thank you.”

“Wow just wow.
We have just had Soul Sensations at our Music on the Prom event althrough the weather wasn't the best (wind and rain) these guys put on a cracking show. We have seen Motown acts before but nothing like this. The high energy, the dance moves, the vocals, the harmonising - oh my the harmonising. What a show, what a performance, what a day. We would highly recommend Soul Sensations and hopefully we will see them again at Music on the Prom. Just get them booked!”

“Extremely happy with the band, they made the night! Everybody has been commenting on how good they were. The quality and choice of the music was perfect they had everyone from the kids too our grandparents dancing. Would definitely recommend The Essential 60's to everyone. Could you please pass on our apologies to the band, as it was such a busy night we did not have chance to thank to the band properly and we would have liked too!”

“Closing the evening out was the superbly presented three-girl vocal and dance act
The Angelettes.
This Motown-tribute show, performed by a trio of stunningly clad brunettes, could
conceivably become a market-leading attraction on this showing. Large theatrestyle
cruise venues must be the natural target for this act.
Image and dance skills dovetail perfectly here with considerable vocal ability.
This is an act which, if pitched correctly, could be one of the cabaret finds of 2012.”
