The Jack Dames

The Jack Dames are one of Scotland's best-loved wedding and party bands, made up of some of the finest musicians on the country's live scene. A five-piece with male and female lead vocals, guitar, bass, drums and keys, they're known for infectious energy on stage and a genuine ability to win over even the most reluctant dancers.

Reviewers consistently praise the band for going above and beyond — learning unfamiliar first dance songs at short notice, letting guests join them on stage for a song, and reading the room to keep the dance floor packed from the first note to the last. Their ceilidh set, often featuring live bagpipes, is a particular highlight for guests unfamiliar with Scottish dancing, especially at weddings with a large international guest list.

The Jack Dames provide their own PA system, stage lighting, and a complimentary DJ service for whenever they're not playing live, and are experienced working with venue sound limiters. A typical performance runs from 8pm to midnight with a 30-minute break, with early arrival and a late finish after midnight both available on request at an additional fee.
