One of the UK's finest and most original bands just got portable! You can now get The Retrosettes experience at your wedding daytime, corporate engagement or indeed any other function which calls for scope for the band to play in quieter settings.
The Retrosettes Unplugged includes the same musicians from The Retrosettes but play the songs with acoustic instruments. They are the most unique and quirky covers band to come out of Manchester and are starting to get a following across the country. The versatility of The 'Unplugged' option is that the band are not tied to a power supply so they can play inside or out. They are also completely mobile and can move around in between songs with ease.
The band play modern songs and make them sound vintage, and they play classic songs and make them sound retro. They put their unique twist on all songs they play, which ranges from modern pop songs from the past few years, to soul and pop classics of the 60s and 70s to rock songs from across the decades.
All members of the band wear matching tweed suits, flat caps and braces. They all play vintage instruments which have a fantastic sound. The band can learn songs on request and give them The Retrosettes Unplugged treatment. This is evident from their recent Christmas set, live samples can be found on this page.
