Hireaband invented wedding band showcases back in the very early 90's. At first we were rubbish at it - too many bands in venues with not enough parking and no idea how many people would actually turn up. Lots did, so there were never enough seats.
Eventually we got the hang of it and refined the wedding band showcase into a really useful way for couples to find the entertainment for their reception. Now, although our idea has been copied by pretty much every other agency in the country, no one does it like us. More couples find their dream band at our showcases than at all the others combined. Hireaband showcases are still the biggest and best in the country with a line up of the most popular wedding bands Scotland has to offer.
Our next Scottish wedding band showcase is on the 13th January 2013 at The Holiday Inn East Kilbride. There will be six bands playing live from 2:30pm plus the fantastic piano vocalist Andy Lucas - fresh from his December bookings at The Edinburgh Corn Exchange - one of our many regular venue clients.
When you hire your band at a Hireaband showcase, not only do you get access to brilliant bands, you also get our unique triple guarantee;
- You'll only ever pay the bands direct price - no mark up from Hireaband whatsoever.
- You can change your mind within 10 days of booking at the showcase and receive a full refund of your £70 reservation fee and £30 admin fee - no questions asked.
- We guarantee entertainment on your wedding day. Even though it's incredibly rare for a band not to be able to fulfill a booking we'll be there to ensure that if the worst does happen, you won't be without entertainment.

Fees are based on a performance between 8pm and midnight with a half hour break. Extensions to performance times may be negotiated. Fees may be subject to additional charges to cover travel when performing more than 40 miles from the bands base.
The show is completely free to attend, there is no pressure whatsoever to book any band and you can bring as many people with you as you like.
