Newfangled Jesters Duo

A big thank you to the Newfangled Jesters for coming all the way to Devon to play for our wedding! They certainly did not disappoint!! The music was foot-stompingly fantastic and the dance-floor was always filled! Would highly recommend!

The band were great, turned up on time, were really helpful calling out the cake cutting for me. They had covered a Jimmy eat world song for our first dance, which was awesome. Had so many comments from guests saying how good they were. Also the whole booking process was very straightforward, was never in doubt about anything. Would highly recommend!

Where do we start? The band was absolutely amazing, we had the best time with them! They really got people up on to the dancefloor and interacted with our guests throughout. They really made our evening celebrations perfect. The acoustic duo set they played was also brill, and really added to the atmosphere. We're looking for an excuse to hire them again!

Newfangled jesters were excellent they were friendly and music was incredible , everyone said how Brilliant they were, and loved every song they played. They kept us dancing all night long.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding last week. We had an absolute blast and have had so many comments from guests about how great you guys were. You really got the party going and got people involved on the dance floor.
Also thank you for being so flexible throughout the pandemic and thank you to Irving for being so communicative and helpful with re-arranging the plans so many times.

It was a pleasure to have The Newfangled Jesters play at our wedding. We and the guests loved them and they got everyone up dancing. They played all sorts of songs, from Blink 182 to Nicki Minaj and they were all a hit on the dance floor. We definitely recommend them!

We absolutely loved having The Newfangled Jesters for our wedding. When guests arrived at the wedding breakfast and reception venue they were already playing acoustic music as agreed, and they were fantastic! They’d also prepared some easy listening music for when they were between sets, and let us borrow their microphone for the speeches, which was a very nice touch!

For the evening performance they were joined by their double bassist, and they set the party off! It was amazing! Every single person I have spoken to has commented on how good they were, and we couldn’t be happier with them!

Thank you so much to Hire A Band and The Newfangled Jesters for helping to make our wedding day so successful and special!

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! Loved having you at our party at the weekend, thank you so, so much Reuben and Sam for enabling us to have such a fantastic time with our family and friends. We loved how interactive you were with everyone, young, old, dancers and listeners. We were very happy with the band and how they played - they were actually better live than we expected them to be and sounded great. They looked really good too. I also loved that they got our friends involved in shaking tambourines etc.

Hireaband were fantastic. Communication was excellent, even to the point that on my wedding day, I had a question that needed immediately answering, I rang what I assumed was a general office number and the guy I spoke to was so helpful and prompt!

As for Newfangled Jesters, fantastic band, really got everyone going and dancing. Great with entertaining all ages. Would highly recommend.

Newfangled Jesters were incredible! Having a wedding in the UK summer we were worried the light evenings would discourage people getting onto the dance floor...but the second this band started playing the dance floor filled and was like this all night!

They brought so much energy and the set list was fantastic! All our guests said how great they were and insisted on them playing an encore.

We would 100% book this band again.

The Newfangled Jesters were incredible. Everything we had expected and so much more. They got everyone dancing from the moment their first set started and are full of so much energy that the dance floor was full of people of all ages the whole night.
They were so accommodating in making sure everything was as we wanted and we’ve had a lot of our guests passing on their compliments about them. I have to say out of the whole weekend, the Newfangled Jesters will be one of the ever lasting memories of our wedding for us.

The Newfangled Jesters were utterly superb! They were great at getting the dance floor filled and keeping people dancing right to the end of their set. We had so many comments from guests saying how fabulous they were and how much they enjoyed dancing... in fact, several guests were feeling it in the morning from ‘too much bouncing’!!! We look forward to rebooking the group for our renewal of vows!

Hireaband are really helpful and respond very quickly. The band, Newfangled Jesters, were absolutely amazing. So engaging and lively, all our guests loves them and so did we.

Newfangled Jesters were amazing!!! Everyone was on the dance floor. One of the best parts of Jen and Scott's wedding day! Sam even came onto the dance floor with his accordion, fantastic festival feel which is just what they wanted. They were well worth the money we paid. Will want to see them again and hope we can invite them back for a farm festival we'd love to make happen in the future.

Morning guys, hope you had a good trip back home after being what was simply the best band we could ever have hoped for at our wedding on Saturday. We had some very high expectations of The Newfangled Jesters and let me tell you, you guys met, delivered and delivered again …and again in terms of being just , well the word is ‘brilliant’ and that still doesn’t cover it; The wedding party you helped create was honestly the most amazing day of our lives , seeing everybody just revelling in the moment and enjoying your sets and so many people have said your performances were pure fun & class…..I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as we did, we aimed for a festival vibe and I think what with a combination of Tipi’s and a double-bass playing band with a fine beard, we nailed it; and lastly Sam, thank you for giving me the nudge to do my song-bit; Anna was and I think still is just amazed that I had not only the cahones…I was sober….but also that I can almost hold a tune…..and to such an important song for us both.

The band was truly awesome! They were very entertaining and engaging with us and they were great to dance too! They really made our wedding day extra special!

Absolutely fantastic evening we really enjoyed having Newfangled Jesters at our Hen Party and all the girls enjoyed listening and dancing to the band.

I could not recommend this band enough they really made our weekend very special and the Hen Charlotte was made up with her surprise as she wanted The Newfangled Jesters to play at her wedding but they are fully booked.

I realise you put a massive amount of work in to learning our songs for us, and we are so grateful. The moments that Tom and I had dancing together to those songs are some of my most treasured memories from the wedding. Really special, and I can't thank you enough.

Also, some of the male guests have told us that they have serious beard envy after seeing you!!
